I don't normally post in here but I'm so excited because of the win! Nihrvanah's phoenix costume that won 1st place in the elegant category tonight:
You see Nihrvanah Tarsonath Vaalor the Muse.
She appears to be an Elf.
She is average height and appears to be youthful. She has slightly squinted, violet-edged gentian blue eyes and impeccably smooth, porcelain white skin. She has waist-length, feathered golden yellow hair that blends to a brilliant fiery red at the tips. She has a slender, waifish jawline accentuating her delicate face, a pert, button nose and a set of full, pouty lips naturally tinted with a delicate, rosy shade. Her neck is long and sinewy, with a barely visible scar at her collarbone, which appears stitched into her skin. The markings on her neck resemble a heart with a dagger piercing it. She is inked with a light green leaf pattern upon her face.
She is wearing a flame red and golden feathered headdress with a pointed gilt beak, a crimson and gold-feathered capelet with bronze-hued wrist-ties, a short-skirted red phoenix costume*, some burnt sienna leggings, and some bronze-hued boots with gold tips and carved ruby heels.
*Delicate fiery red and dark crimson feathers are layered to mimic the rich plumage of a phoenix. Along the costume's neckline and mid-thigh hemline are feathers patterned in a jagged edge, creating an illusion of dancing flames with the slightest movement. A train of larger gold-tipped crimson plumes falls from the waist to mid-calf and fans out in a majestic display.
That is nice indeed!
Well, I didn't make it to the costume contest unfortunately, but I sure loved the ones that I saw when I came in at the tail end of things! Congrats to the winners and all the lucky Ebon's Gate attendees!
I have been working on snazzing myself up just a bit, though, and wearing some of my fun, zesty, and magical new things...
You see Leifa Ar'Anya Faendryl.
She appears to be a Dark Elf.
She is tall and appears to be youthful. She has a shimmer of ash grey on her eyelids, thick-lashed intense viridian green eyes, glossy opal peach full lips, and supple sunkissed bronzed skin. She has loosely layered, mane of ash blonde hair parted to the side and pinned back with a blonde tortoiseshell haircomb inset with tiny yellow heliodor. She has an angular face and slightly upswept pointed ears. She has glitter-infused silver lacquer brushed onto her sharply filed fingernails.
She has a series of small white jade hoops set along the slender tips of her pointed ears, a stylized black-inked tribal sunburst tattoo across her collarbone on her neck, a raging warhorse tattoo on her waist, some tattooed interlocking sigils on her wrist, and a delicate peach blossom tattoo on her thigh.
She is in good shape.
She is wearing a six-tier delicate silver necklace set with a pale yellow heliodor, a low-draped plush chinchilla wrap backed in platinum batiste, a patinaed silver-clasped clutch slung over her shoulder, a backless crystal-swept gown of diaphanous layers of deep jade silk with an elegant drape, an antique silver wristwrap set with black crystal leaves, an antique silver engagement ring set with a jade-embraced diamond solitaire, and a pair of silver slippers with criss crossing ankle straps.
I finally decided to do something for Riend that didn't include pants, and something like this kind of goes with the way her RP's headed...
You see Riend Ar'Fiernel.
She appears to be a Sylvankind.
She is tall and appears to be in the bloom of youth. She has oblique malachite-flecked chestnut eyes and gardenia white skin. She has long, fine mournbloom black hair in an upswept, tousled style partially obscured by a pair of suede headbands affixed with oversized copper-framed goggles. Though her features are predominantly Sylvan, subtleties in the shape of her face and the tilt of her eyes appear faintly Erithian.
She has a pair of stylized copper earcuffs set along the slender tips of her pointed ears, and a tiny blue water drop tattoo on the inside of her left wrist.
She is in good shape.
She is wearing a silk-backed wrought copper choker, a canvas-belted mocha leather corset over a thigh-length vanilla cotton chemise, a set of cream open-knit wool sleeves, a pair of dark leather knuckle gloves, a dual-clasped leather satchel, and some over-the-knee coffee and cream striped linen socks under some ribbon-laced distressed leather kneeboots.
Corset - This long-line underbust corset of warm mocha leather has simple, clean lines that follow the sharp curvature of its hourglass shape. A pair of grey-green canvas belts span the width of the garment, each center-set with a simple bronze buckle, accenting the figure at both the widest and narrowest points. The thinner of the two fits snugly around the narrow waist, while the wider belt appears thicker and sits across the broader curve near the corset's bottom.
Chemise - The chemise's skirt is tailored to cut across the top of the thigh in front before spilling down nearly to the ankles in back, revealing a dark ecru lining. The two tiers of ruffles along the hem of the skirt are mirrored at the low-cut scoop neckline, with the uppermost layer of ruffles at the neck curving up to form the chemise's straps. A small spill of ecru lace is fastened at the center of the chest by an ivory cameo set onto a thick haon oval.
Earcuffs - These earcuffs have been fashioned from copper wires of varying thickness in a pattern of long, curling tendrils. Together they create a stylized, ethereal swirl of air designed to fit snugly along the outer contour of the ear from the lobe to the tip.
Gloves (3x day bravery) - Supple, dark chocolate leather has been fashioned to fit over the knuckles and upper half of the palm, exposing a teasing glimpse of skin. Bands of copper, overlaid with a thin latticework of leather scraps, accent each glove between the first and second knuckle.
Choker - Layered over a wide choker of ebon silk are ornate copper whorls of varying sizes, each one intricately fitted with the next. Centered on the choker is a slender, copper-link chain suspending a large circular timepiece. Bulbous in its shape, the timepiece has been inset with a number of bronze and laje cogs, giving it a rustic appearance despite the delicate inlay of its pearly vaalin face.

She appears to be an Elf.
She is taller than average with a slender willowy form and appears to be youthful. She has silver-lashed misty grey eyes and silky smooth, fair skin. She has lustrous, hip-length silver blonde hair caught in a casual roll at the nape of her neck by a series of slender gold hairpins. She has naturally glossy, rose-pink tinted lips. Peeking through her hair are dainty upswept ears tapering to fine points which enhance her fey-like countenance. She has a shiny shell pink glaze brushed onto her gently rounded fingernails.
She has a cascade of tiny silver stars tattooed over her right eyebrow that fades into her hairline, and an inking of a faint star constellation on her neck.
She is in good shape.
She is holding an ashen tapestry bag with an arboreal scene in her right hand.
She is wearing a veil-framed ebony hat adorned with a soft grouse feather, a wide velveteen choker set with a glossy sable mekret, a shaggy wolverine fur capelet, a slightly-bustled gown of soft umber and charcoal tartan with a bateau neckline, a platinum wedding ring, and some narrow-cuffed charcoal silk shoes with pointed toes.
For tomorrow. Corset and skirt are the only things new. Everything else has been seen loads of times.

She appears to be an Elf.
She is average height and appears to be an adult. She has slanting, mismatched grey and black eyes and intensely pale skin. She has long, glass-smooth deep scarlet hair swept back from a sharp widow's peak to stream glistening and perfectly straight almost to the ground. She has a refined collection of quintessentially Elven features, from the sharply defined cheekbones and patrician nose to the delicate outline of her jaw. She has glassy pale jade green polish brushed onto her manicured fingernails.
She is in good shape.
She is wearing a pair of chandelier earrings dangling fragile shoulder-length latticework, a rounded edge jade leather shrug with an arcing pleated collar, a tattooed soft alabaster skin corset, a coraesine ring-of-flames solitude band, a gently flaring lustrous pearl satin skirt with a bustle of voluminous marabou feathers, and some webbed leather sandals set on attenuated stiletto heels.
Corset:
Alabaster skin, faultless in texture and tone, has been carefully oiled and preserved to make this corset. Stretched taut over a framework of internal boning to give it a structured hourglass silhouette, it is designed to emphasize the wearer's hips. The back panel of the corset has been tattooed with thorny vines descending the spine of the corset in rich jade hues. A line of blooming black roses studs the inked lattice with a slight sanguine tinge where each flower appears to pierce through the skin.
Just marking one of the rare moments when Rohese wore shoes. Because we probably won't see this again for, what, another 6 months? They're also very pretty shoes, and the nail polish is perfect for Rohese, so that's worth preserving, too.Quote:
