I haven't contributed in a while. Just normal stuff, dressed for hunting.
You see Lady Lysistrata Scio Nalfein.
She appears to be an Elf.
She is average height and appears to be an adult. She has slanting, mismatched grey and black eyes and intensely pale skin. She has long, glass-smooth deep scarlet hair held in a loose chignon by a set of petite black lacquered hairpins. She has a refined collection of quintessentially Elven features, from the sharply defined cheekbones and patrician nose to the delicate outline of her jaw.
She is in good shape.
She is wearing a rakishly slanted black hat, an enameled heraldic shield pendant, a full-length open ebon suede longcoat, a heart-shaped emerald suede corset over a fine white cotton shirt ruffled with lace at the wrists, a coraesine ring-of-flames solitude band, some narrow pinstriped black wool breeches, and a pair of hip-high cuffless slick black leather boots.
Pendant:
Strung on a thin, short chain, the shield-shaped pendant features the design of an elven crest divided in the imperial style. Within the arch is a meandering spiral of blood for the flourish, curling around a black rose set above the statement, which is written in elegant script. Another rose in full bloom sits over paired rosebuds in the vale while stylized flames engulf all three. Flanking to the left is a drop of blood represented by a dark ruby and to the right is a coiled ivory serpent at rest.
Longcoat:
Framing rather than concealing, the longcoat has no way to fasten it closed, designed to hang open as it falls in a straight line from shoulders to near floor-length hem. An odd combination of black feathers and fur unique to the griffin species lines the interior of the longcoat, providing a warm, downy complement to the exterior of soft suede.
Corset:
Soft, jewel-tone green suede conceals rigid boning, providing the corset with firm structure. The double arched neckline of the corset resembles the top of a heart, the image furthered by paneling and darts that come down to a point at the hem.
639 pages, and I still get a mental image of some sicko making prank calls and breathing heavily into the phone every time someone bumps this thread.
Ha! This thread captures some of my favorite GS moments. I guess we all played for different reasons.
Anyway, here's Strata dressed up for the opening of EG tomorrow night:
You see Lady Lysistrata Scio Nalfein.
She appears to be an Elf.
She is average height and appears to be an adult. She has slanting, mismatched grey and black eyes and intensely pale skin. She has long, glass-smooth deep scarlet hair swept back from a sharp widow's peak to stream glistening and perfectly straight almost to the ground. She has a refined collection of quintessentially Elven features, from the sharply defined cheekbones and patrician nose to the delicate outline of her jaw.
She is in good shape.
She is wearing a large dark oval ruby lariat, a draping starry black lace shawl edged in nearly floor-length tassels, a strapless ashen chiffon gown radiating pleats from the lowest point on the sweetheart neckline, a coraesine ring-of-flames solitude band, and some tall open-toed heels formed from scarlet leather piecework.
Lariat:
The simple, thread-thin chain is short enough to suspend the pendant just below the wearer's collarbone, slightly off-center. The pendant itself is a large oval pigeon's blood ruby, its many facets bringing out a warm fire in the gem.
Awww so long ago
That armour is so embarrassing. Thanks Dex.
