What Are You Wearing?

For those who didn't see my primary costume for the Bardfest finals..

You see Traiva Verethundi.
She appears to be an Aelotoi of the Mrae'ni Clan.
She is shorter than average and appears to be in the spring of life. She has smoldering, viridian-flecked dark hazel eyes and rose-tinted ivory skin. She has long, dark copper hair swept into a voluminous twist and secured with a faenor comb. She has a heart-shaped face and high cheekbones. She has a pair of jade-veined elongated emerald wings.
She has a knotwork and dragonfly tattoo on her neck.
She is in good shape.
She is wearing a sharply scalloped necklace of radiant-cut star emeralds, some long flowing silk robes tied with a silver cord, an emerald-set gold wedding ring, and a pair of jade green silk chopines set on wisp-etched crystal heels.

Altered Gweedetta wig, robes are armor concealer, chopines are altered Lofty Aspirations shoes, and the tattoo and ring shows have been shown before.

Well, my troll ballad didn't go off so well, but I had fun, just the same! Here is my Bardfest outfit:

You see Great Lady Leifa Ar'Anya Faendryl.
She appears to be a Dark Elf.
She is tall and appears to be youthful. She has a shimmer of errisian green on her eyelids, thick-lashed intense viridian green eyes, glossy topaz pink full lips, and supple sunkissed bronzed skin. She has loosely layered, mane of ash blonde hair cascading down her back. She has an angular face and slightly upswept pointed ears. A moss-hued chrysoprase teardrop is positioned between her eyes, which casts a sparkling moss green sheen across her face.
She has some silver sapphire-dusted hoops set along the slender tips of her pointed ears and a stylized black-inked tribal sunburst tattoo across her collarbone of her neck.
She is holding a gold-swirled verdant marbrinus toy pony with carved jade eyes in her right hand and a sinew-bound little black book with a mottled troll hide spine in her left hand.
She is wearing an enameled green scarab locket, a razern-hued moire silk gown with laces tracing the spine, some fitted silk gloves clasped with vaalin buttons, a ribbon waist cincher interwoven with viridian green silk and jet black satin, a thigh-strapped slim vaalorn kit, and a pair of black silk slippers dusted with emperor's crown shell flecks.

Inked in black, the stylized sunburst originates from a thickly lined circle and fans outward in wavy rays. The interior of the sun is shaded from darker on the left to lighter on the right, creating a three-dimensional look to the design. Each of the rays are edged with a barely perceptible line of gold-sheened ink that glimmers faintly in the ambient light.

You open an enameled green scarab locket, being very careful with its tiny latch.

Tucked into the green scarab locket, you see an exquisitely detailed portrait of a dark elven bard. The rays of a painted sun pick out faint highlights in his white hair and illumine his handsome dark features. His violet eyes regard you proudly from within the locket and a slight smile touches his lips.

With a slight nod of satisfaction, you idly run your finger down the cover of your little black book.

You recite:

"Silvery-tongued Humans and Giants with hair spun of gold;
Half-Krolvin thieves of hearts and shifty Dwarves bought and sold;
Elves of all sorts, be they high-born or low;
Dark brooding Faendryl with violet eyes that glow."

You see Teveriel An'duin Vaalor the Inquisitor.
He appears to be an Elf.
He is tall and appears to be mature. He has dark-rimmed steel grey eyes and fair skin. He has shoulder length, straight silver blonde hair swept back from the temples. He has an angular face and broad shoulders.
He has an old battle scar across his back, and an old battle scar across his chest.
He is wearing a hooded inky black longcloak, a pure white onyx shield talisman, a silver-traced ebonwood scabbard slung over his shoulder, some silvery vultite platemail edged with ancient elven runes, an ebon-veined white marble band, a black leather belt, a black velvet drawstring gem pouch, some black wool pants, and a pair of plated square-toed sabatons.

No alterations just yet, but I'm pretty pleased with the simplicity of the ensemble and overall look.

So, is this a nod to Middle Earth or the WoW NPC?

Definitely the former. Rolled the character up long before WoW.

Dayko's latest outfit.

You see Lord Dayko the Fugitive.
He appears to be a Faendryl Dark Elf.
He is tall and appears to be full grown. He has silvery nightshade purple eyes and dusky skin. He has long, fine jet black hair with a red streak running through it. He has a delicate face, a sharp nose and sharply-curved pointed ears.
He has a copper spike veined with verdigris in the upper ridge of his left ear.
He is in good shape.
He is wearing a silver-traced leather bandolier, a stark white bourde shirt fastened high at the throat with an iron chain, a burnished dark ruic horn inlaid with ivory triangles, some jet silk pants with neatly pressed front pleats, and a pair of polished ebon boots.

I haven't gotten to share my new tattoo yet!

She appears to be an Elf.
She is average height and appears to have come of age. She has gilt-striated luminous celadon eyes and blush-tinged soft peach skin. She has long, pale tawny hair that drastically fades to argent-white blonde. She has a round face, an upturned nose and tall downswept pointed ears.
She has a trailing alyssum petals tattoo on her back, a blue iris tattoo on her ear, and a golden quarter note tattoo on her wrist.
She is wearing a pair of wire-framed spectacles, a cropped cream satin jacket with turned cuffs embellished by sage stitching, a tea-length sage linen dress with a sheer honey silk underskirt, an aged taupe leather bookbag with scratched bronze buckles slung over her shoulder, and some russet leather ankle boots.

Alyssum blossom tattoo:
Trailing down from the back of her neck, inked against her pale skin, is a series of fragile alyssum petals. The floral cascade, ranging in hues from deep purple to pale rose, twists and twines in a helical pattern down her spine, as though caught on a fervent wind and swept into the air. The petals diffuse at the base of the spine in a wash of color, resolving into the phrase, "Worth beyond beauty."

Well done on the tattoo.

She has a heart-shaped face and high cheekbones. A multi-toned lagoon blue eostone with a sleek metallic sheen is positioned between her eyes, which casts a sparkling deep blue sheen across her face. She has a pair of jade-veined elongated emerald wings.

She is holding a hinged round silver mirror in her right hand.
She is wearing a translucent chalcedony rose suspended from a thin silk ribbon, a long creamy chainsil wrap edged with pale sage fringe, a double wrapped wool stomacher over a saffron chainsil bliaut with peridot-banded funnel sleeves, an emerald-set gold wedding ring, a velvet belt pouch, and some sparkling crystal-heeled slippers.

Stylized dragonflies are inked in shades of blue and green, the hues varying in intensity along the length of each insect. Small deep green circles of intricate knotwork connect the dragonflies to form the appearance of a chain around the neck. The outline of a stag's head is inked in dark gold at the back of the neck, nestled between two dragonflies.

A tawny leather cord laces up the back of the caramel wool stomacher for a secure fit. Two bands of forest green suede wrap around it, one near the top and another just above the bottom edge.
(reversible stomacher that has a slightly different show)

A large marquis-cut emerald sits centered in display, flanked by four smaller matched stones of similar color and cut, the whole of the arrangement suggesting a stylized dragonfly. It perches atop a band of fiery reddish gold, engraved about its span with a subtle pattern of sinuous wisps.

The bliaut is a Nalea.

You see Morah Silent-Tongue the Krolvinbane.
She appears to be a Faendryl Dark Elf.
She is taller than average and appears to be youthful. She has narrow ebony eyes and almost translucent alabaster skin. She has shoulder length, silky black hair secured into a spiral knotted bun by a jagged fan of well-honed iron hairsticks. She has sharp cheekbones that frame her angular face and hollow cheeks. Her hands are as gaunt as her visage, but thickened by heavy calluses.
She has a crossed main gauche tattoo on her ankle.
She is in good shape.
She is wearing a long dark green suede jacket with grey glimaerstone buttons, a midnight black shirt of faintly metallic bourde, some trillian-cut cool grey glimaerstone cufflinks, a pair of spotless white kidskin gloves, some fitted dark grey suede breeches, and a pair of verdant leather boots fettered with rows of iron buckles.

Seven square iron rods, cut to a different lengths and crudely twisted into deep-grooved helices, are designed to spread out behind the wearer's head in a jagged fan. Six of the hairsticks taper at both ends to weapon-sharp points, while the longest is crowned with a faceted glimaerstone that gleams green or grey depending on the angle of view.

Laces of pale grey sinew run up the sides of each leg, allowing the breeches to be fitted tightly against the skin. Silk strands dyed the same hue stitch a thin, barely visible border of entwined mournblooms and laurel leaves along the cuffs. No hint of ornamentation touches the dark grey suede elsewhere, leaving it soft and supple to allow for silent movement.
