Maybe Cruz really does have ulterior motives and he just wants to keep things the way they are because they benefit him. That is a possibility. However whatever his motives are does not make his message any less accurate.

Cruz is calling for legislation that is better clarified. WB likes the way things are because he feels our government would never do anything bad. Apparently a lot of people believe in this.

Funny though considering it was just what, 50-60 years ago we had the Mccarthy trials and we were shoving Japanese American citizens into concentration camps for the crime of being Japanese. Surely we're better than those countries in Europe.

I get the point. How many times do I have to say I think the comparison is grossly exaggerated, deceptively manipulative, and outright fundamentally stupid. You're the one who bought it when you claimed in your very first post that SNL had hurt Palin, then later claimed that NBC through SNL was manipulating elections with comedy sketches.

You don't think it hurt Palin? If you want to continue living in your bubble you are more than welcome, but to think SNL sketches didn't hurt Palin is beyond naive. You have a point about the legislation but I still think you're wrong about it hurting Palin. If anything all the publicity probably did not good for her image than anything else. She doesn't need any help acting incompetent.

Which part are you having trouble with? Political advertising of any sort would be illegal. Everything that a candidate says to the public would be during weekly or bi-weekly debates leading up to elections.

And yes, it would definitely not be limited to the bullshit two party stuff we have now.

So a stadium full of people is illegal... what about an auditorium full of people? A room full of people? A kitchen table with a few people sitting around?
