And now that laws may actually be enforced, feel entitled to that continued support? Solely based on appealing to the generosity of a Nation that has already supported and kept your brother alive for years?

Yet you mock, throw insults, and demean people for wondering where their tax dollars go and the enforcement of the Nation's laws?

Perhaps there is a family legally in the US.. that pays taxes.. has a family member that has medical issues.. must support and pay for loved ones which takes away from their ability to live a certain level. Guess what that is called.. it's called life. And it's tough. And no one is entitled to something just because they "want it".

I wish your family all the best I do.. but you really should think of others.. respect their viewpoint more.. and understand that your family has, by YOUR own admission, been generously cared for by the country you now claim to be so fearful of.

I have insurance thru my employer. My insurance isn't subsidized in the least and I live in a very expensive part of the country (not SF but it can be hard). Thats a bad line of reasoning. He also can't vote because hes an undocumented person, should all undocumented people have that right. I mean they live here. I would be willing to bet that amount he pays in doesn't equal the amount he gets out, that isn't earning his keep.

You understood what you wanted to, which was not the point at all. It's just how you rationalize it in your mind.

The point is.. EVERYONE wants their family healthy and whole. EVERYONE loves their brothers, mothers, fathers, sisters. EVERYONE has hardship and must make sacrifices for family.

You said that "you're taking something from someone else" by admitting your family is here ILLEGALLY. That is taking from someone else... the LEGAL citizens of this Nation that you and your family for decades have benefited and been supported by. Not me.

Yet you think you're entitled to that continued support, when LEGALLY you are not. That is the point.

I don't wish harm on anyone or their family, and I realize that it's hard for people all over this world. I don't fault people for wanting to improve their lives. But I do respect the laws of the Nation that I live in, or the Nations that I visit. Is it wrong to ask the same of others?

If you thought what I said was bad to you, then you missed the point as I said.

This country for decades has supported your family, even though YOUR family, decided to IGNORE the legal procedures because it's not what YOU want. Your brothers situation is the responsibility of your families actions... not the Nation that has for years supported it.
