Just want to thank everyone that showed up last night, we had an excellent turnout I thought. Was a pleasure meeting some new people.
Sorry I left early, I love these meetings though, especially last night's. That was a good turn out.
As for future events, is anyone else interested in a duelers night? Create certain kinds of competitions (magic bouts, fisticuffs matches, sword duels) or just create basic duels. Different rules can be applied to each match, and of course have brackets or heats separated by level.
There should a fee to enter, and have silver or other prizes awarded to winners. We would have to hire an empath, maybe even a cleric, to clean up the resulting mess. Also, it should be open to everyone, not just Faendryl's, just sponsored and created by the Enclave.
Is anyone else interested in such organizing or participating in something like this?
I really like the idea of a dueler's night. Maybe you could even add a betting system for the audience to gamble silvers on their fighter of choice.
I had a random idea for an event the other night. Animated puppets. Some kind of event using animates and demons and a group, with their summoners, can create short skits and the dead people can talk or people can imitate the animated critters.. and each group is judged on a few different aspects of their skit. (these are the kinds of things I dream about, oddly enough)
