Depends on the image.
Ah. A good reason to horde your baby batter I suppose.
My sisters ex-husband pays $300 bucks a month for 3 kids, one autistic with special needs. What is truly sad about it is he wants nothing to do with the autistic child, and now that the oldest boy is 18 takes no responsibility for parenting him either.
My sister has it tough, but she's doing better without him, that's for sure.
$300 a month for 3 kids?? Fuck he doesnt pay anything.
I havent finished going through all the paperwork, but I pay until he's either done in college or turns 20, whichever is first.
Of course I would trade places with the woman and have the kid daily. You miss so much of a kids life not seeing them in day-to-day instances.
As I tried to stress to others, I think each parent should go through what the other does, before they decide on visitation/custody. Make the mother go without the kid for [however long the dad does].. How does it affect their life/ their view of not having their kid, etc.
I try to make it as good as it can possibly be... I try and talk to the kid as often as possible, usually every 2-3 days when he's not here. (5 year olds dont always want to talk on the phone). I try and plan shit out for when he's gonna be here.. I have worksheets and maps to color and shit so we can learn about whatever I plan.. (this weekend is photosynthesis and food knowledge).
There's no "good" way to split custody unless you live next door to each other... chances of that happening? None.
As long as I can pay my bills after child support, I'm OK with it. I do think it sucks they go by gross income rather than after tax income.
Getting my truck towed by the city while I'm packing up my office after being laid off.
Courts hate men. I gave up the house with equity (to anchor her in place,) assumed the joint debts and paid from $700 to $800 a month in child support for 14 years. I'm currently paying $400 a month for the next year til my youngest princess turns 18.
We also have a provision where we can't move more than 30 minutes from each other, which is very limiting in small town America. However, it's all been worth it to raise my kids.
Locked myself out of my condo when I went to take pictures of a dent in my car.
Stuck outside for ~90 minutes. Oops.
A particularly difficult poop.
