Just answer this question point blank: Wasn't there a push recently for Democrats to register as Republican in states with closed primaries so they could vote against Republicans who they thought had a good chance of winning and vote for Republicans who they thought had a bad chance of winning?

Democrats even took credit for this push and said it was effective.

That said, kid's mom is a Democrat. His dad being a Libertarian doesn't really push him one way or another though.
