I've been watching Supernatural lately, which of course has gotten me hooked back on listening to classic rock. Favorite song thus far has been Styx ~ Renegade. Close second is Booker T and the MGs ~ Green Onions.

seriously x-fueled memories ensue
It was a great show at Amos's Southend in Charlotte. We had a table on a balcony overlooking the stage, and even though some hanging speakers blocked our view of stage left, so we didn't see the bass player of any of the three bands, we were nice and close.
Lionize was a nice suprise, evoking early Clutch with passionately delivered bluesy vocals. I enjoyed their keyboard / organs and the drummer looked like a 16 year old black kid and played the hell outta those drums.
Prong was a lil meh. I enjoyed their one song I knew (snap your fingers, snap your neck) but otherwise meh. It doesn't help that their lead singer is one of those guys that demands the audience do ____ on command, and if you don't do ____ he hates you. He was pretty good on guitar though.
Clutch put on one of their best live shows I've ever been to in the half dozen or so times I've seen them. Neil was all over the stage doing his badass rock & roll preaching. The building / balcony shook during Spacegrass when everyone was screaming along JESUS ON THE DASHBOARD.
