Seriously what the fuck is going on? Sure sounds like someone along the chain of command just wanted someone dead so they could claim some sort of retribution for the suicide bombing of the airport.
You follow the vehicle for eight hours and somehow wrongly conclude it was an “imminent” threat? Someone’s head should roll for this, but Trump isn’t president so nothing will happen.

It wasn't that a mistake happened, they do unfortunately.
It was the political/military cover-up by leadership that is the issue. They knew that day what was what, and the Administration still went out with their story because they were getting crushed for their inept withdrawal strategy and subsequent clusterfuck.
And agreed... the operators that executed the mission will carry it with them always.
