It would an interesting experiment, sure, but I don't think abolishing laws and law enforcement is the common goal. This should be more about police reform and accountability, not abolishment -- that's a much more extreme end of the spectrum.

Utter lawlessness would be a nightmare, as laws are an important part of society... abuse of authority is not.

I think the anarchists who punch people for being "Nazis" would be the ones running the police department so it would just be brown shirts on steroids.

Keep in mind I think such a scenario could work in theory. But if we are talking about Portland in particular I think it would be a huge clusterfuck.
