Gore doesn't believe in climate change. Gore believes in making money.

I watched that video and could have sworn you sound like one of those environmental "experts" that made crazy claims.
I don't think anyone is surprised that you would be in this group of alarmists... people who think it's sexy to be part of a group, but honestly don't know a thing about that which you are "protesting" for.
Penn and Teller hate drum circles.
In other news, glad to have PB and Wrathbringer on board the ACC train. Jarvan, how are you coming along?
Poor, sensitive little thing you. Did I hurt your feelings?
Thankfully, you would never, ever do such an evil thing as post an ad hominem attack.
You are clearly above such things............................................ ............................................
what a hypocritical douchebag you are
Ad hominem is a form of fallacy which is defined by it's poor reasoning. I'm encouraging you to use your noodle and post ideas that you support and are supportable. Maybe even show some evidence. It'll be a departure from your current interactions but I think it will be good for you.
Oh, really? Awesome.. let's see if I can find some examples of such:
This forum is littered with perfect examples... I only had to look at yesterday for these... Not counting the first one I quoted of yours from today....................
Seriously though, the high road isn't a place you are able to travel.
Here is a dandy graph to show the number of times experts have concluded our world would have already ended or be nearing an end:

If it takes a half hour to sum up your position, I'd hate to see the full opus. You don't understand what an ad hominem is. Here is how it works:Quote:
Oh, really? Awesome.. let's see if I can find some examples of such:
a person rudely disputes your claims - NOT ad hominem
a person makes rude remarks about you or your claims - NOT ad hominem
a person dismisses your claims on the basis of a character flaw (perceived or actual) - ad hominem
Now we can consider each citation in turn:
You dismiss cwolff's claims as ignorant because he sounded like an alarmist - ad hominem
Cwolff accuses you of being defensive - NOT ad hominem, because he makes no judgment of your claims
Cwolff accuses you of being a knee-jerker - NOT ad hominem, because he makes no judgment of your claims
Cwolff describes the policies of the right in fecal terms - NOT ad hominem, because his judgment of the claims is wholly encapsulated with the claims
Cwolff describes Methais' question as the result of lazy thought processes - NOT ad hominem, but you're getting closer!
If Cwolff had said "I think your question is a bad idea. It shows that you're lazy.", that would be ad hominem.
