No you were right dude. I googled side mounted mini gun. Which I didn't even consider to begin with because in his sig it looks less than the size of her hip.
I was just checking out the DA, those aren't the only side mounted versions though.
The other mounts that I've seen have been vertical and cab attached this one's the only horizontal extension that I've seen. I wonder what kind of mobility it has?
