A healthy adult probably isn't going to be put on a ventilator.

I haven't gotten vaccinated simply because I haven't felt like going to get vaccinated. I generally don't get flu vaccines either.

Knew a guy who was 53, healthy, refused the vaccine and died recently. Family friend. Spent a month on a ventilator. Just died like 2 weeks ago.

Obviously some healthy unvaxxed may be ok, but not having the vaccine runs the risk of a ventilator. If you find yourself intubated, that's probably the end.

The thing is we have absolutely no way of knowing if he would have survived even if he were vaccinated. Vaccinated people are getting just as sick as unvaccinated people and are dying. Maybe not in the same numbers, but it does happen.

The numbers aren't even close.

He told his family when he could still speak he wished he'd have gotten the vaccine.

Everyone feels smart and loves their plan until they end up on a ventilator in the hospital.

Point is we don't know. If saying the vaccines don't work at all is fake news, then how is pointing to an unvaccinated person dying and saying or implying he would have lived had he only been vaccinated not also fake news?

They supposedly always say that. I want to hear just one person who has been vaccinated five times, wore two masks even when alone in their car, and stayed far away from people whenever possible, say on their death bed as they're dying from COVID "Why did I bother with all of that instead of just living my life?"
