If Trump had just come out and released everything it would have been viewed as him taking revenge on political enemies. Feels like he is baiting congress into passing some bill to release it for him so nobody can complain when the information comes out.

The Dems fought to keep Trump from running, so they pretended that Jan 6th was some armed insurrection...
