Beads of peridot, sewn with loops of matte and glossy silver thread, form a lacework edging that creates a pretty light catching effect and adds weight to the wispy fabric. The color of the beads themselves range from a pale sage to a vibrant willow green and cast a verdant sheen on the otherwise raw silk scarves.

Smooth toggles of dark modwir slip easily through a series of pale doeskin loops to fasten the coat snugly and enshroud the wearer in soft olivine dyed wool. Neat box pleats at the small of the back allow the garment to flare slightly at the hips and fall to a fantailed hem, the vibrant peridot silk lining seldom visible due to the tailored cut.

Small deep green circles of intricate knotwork connect the dragonflies to form the appearance of a chain around the neck. Fashioned from the deepest black heartwood, the tapering hairsticks have been lacquered to enhance the subtle nuances of the natural grain and provide the perfect canvas for the abundance of miniature hand-painted lilac and white wisteria entwined with inlaid silver filigree vines.

Fastened at the shoulder with an ebonwood toggle, the front panel of soft green wool falls diagonally from the oblique neckline. A side slit pocket mirrors the sharp angle of the drape, the crisp tailored lines and muted palette of shadowy twilight tones in the folds creating a formal yet comfortable looking garment.

Laced together with ebon ribbon along three of the four oblique sides are two lozenges of soft purple-black suede. The front panel of the simple tote has been brushed repeatedly to produce an effect not dissimilar to the silvery bloom of a freshly picked plum while stitched in the center, in pewter thread, is a coruscating mournbloom. Serving as both a strap and extra decoration, a wider length of ribbon has been tied at either end with elaborate loops to mimic the metallic embroidered blossom.

The monochromatic weave in the dark ebon silk fabric features an abstract pattern of interlocking arcs and spirals, the long floats of satin-woven warp and weft threads causing shadowy highlights which reflect differently according to the position of the observer. Simple black leather cord cross-lacing down the side of each leg keep the breeches snug to the knee but still allow for full flexibility of movement.
