Like Dex, I don't mind too much...unless its someone I hate that is copying me. Most of my friends (myself included) usually ask if they mind me slightly copying their idea. (I never make it exactly like someone elses cause I want it to be unique!)
You see Lady Michiko Lawyk the Woodswoman.

She appears to be in the flower of life and short. She has long-lashed, expressive twilight blue eyes and flawless, creamy skin. She has long, silky raven black hair that flows down her back, curling at the tips to brush against her hips. She has a dainty face, an upturned nose and petite, delicate ears that taper to slight points.
She has a series of intricately etched slender silver rings in the ridges of both her ears.
She is in good shape.
She is wearing a pair of thin silver oak hairsticks tipped with faceted black diamonds, a vaalorn and veniom wedding ring, a flowing black dupioni silk cloak clasped with a cluster of silver stars, a long-line black hourglass corset, a flowing skirt made of layered opalescent silks, and a pair of slender black silk sandals with delicate wooden heels.
Kinda long, but I like it.

All of that (minus the ring) is off-the-shelf, from either the Dhu or EG.

Guess who's got a new outfit? Well.. not all of the outfit's complete, but most of it is and I couldn't wait to post it.

She appears to be young and average height. She has cunning, mismatched grey and black eyes and ivory skin. She has long, lustrous deep scarlet hair that falls nearly to the ground, with a dainty curl at the tips. She has a delicate, refined face and meticulously groomed features.

She is wearing a delicate black diamond choker, a pair of tight nearly arm-length two-fingered black satin gloves, a hip-length rigidly hourglass-shaped black sharkskin corset, a front-split lustrous black silk faille overskirt with a forked train, a long pleated deep jade silk skirt, and some high-heeled black silk slippers.
It is by far the most er.. exotic (and I mean that in the 'outlandish' way, not the.. bellydancer tone it's come take) outfit that Strata has at the moment. Pretty much suitable only for the most formal occasions. Which I wish there were more of.

So I'm thinking of hosting a Tea Party at the Landing Bakery sometime after the next Dhu run so we can all show off our newest outfits and perhaps gossip a bit. I don't know when this is going to be pulled off but I'll make an announcement later down the road so that way people can give input on what time I should set this up so a lot of people will be able to attend.
:grouphug: Yesssss, let us get together and conspire and gossip! I really think there needs to be a ladies' tea society for this sort of thing.
