on top of what other people have mentioned regarding this, the study cited in that report says itself that the number is disputed. googling "do guns prevent deaths" brings up stuff like

either way, i'm not even fully anti-gun, but i am anti-expect-teachers-to-defend-children-in-an-unimaginably-stressfull-situation - my specific argument is in regard to arming teachers to prevent mass school shootings. we've had 2 instances now as far as i know where there has been an armed PO at the scene and they did shit to prevent anything from happening, but we expect teachers to do more? it's a stupid, idiotic idea.
