He said guns save more lives than they take. I linked to a study showing a more reasonable number than the exaggerated number he regurgitated from "the first link he found on google". I also provided reasoning why that number is exaggerated. I presented numbers that showed the guns deaths/injuries matched or exceeded a more realistic number of defensive gun uses. The chart is of total guns deaths, it just happens to have a section for defensive use. That wasn't the point of it though.

How does one track the number of things that didn't happen though? There are probably plenty of cases of X crime not even being attempted due to knowing or suspecting that the intended target would be armed.
