Velfi, how do you come across all these different bands??
I dunno, um.. some are ones that I already like/listen/have listened to, I click most of the stuff that people post here and look into ones that I like, indie radio/web stations/websites, recommendations or word of mouth.. Shazam is pretty useful when I hear a clip or song that catches my interest but I don't know it or the artist.
I just dig music, man.
Keep the roulette wheel going I guess? Okay!

The whole song is great, but the very end reminds me of the music from Diablo.
Stay a while, and listen.

And now I select you, slow down I let you
See how I stun
When I think Video Game Song, this is still my main man.
Veni, veni, venias, ne me mori facias, Sephiroth!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aED7sQK5YYI
Also, I've posted this before but it's worth listening to every day IMO, and the video with Jake Gyllenhaal by itself is pretty cool and a little disturbing. The actual song starts around 1:40 in.

FFT and FF7 are amongst the best for video game OSTs but the music from the Wild Arms intro will always be my favorite. Makes me wish I knew the guitar.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UrDV6VksSRU
I legitimately learned the trumpet in high school to play the Wild Arms 2 Intro. I haven't touched a trumpet in years, but I bet if I picked one up, the notes would still be under my fingers.
And dude, it's never too late to learn to play the guitar!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3JfCYgxrQ_M
That's awesome! I definitely plan on learning someday. The piano too, for this classic.

While I'm not a huge fan, in my business I tend to spend a lot of time around country pop. I particularly like to listen to this song when people are randomly fucking negative just trying to spread negativity just for fucks sake. It makes me happy.
And I can see you years from now in a bar
Talking over a football game
With that same big loud opinion
But nobody's listening
Washed up and ranting about the same old bitter things

This black metal band from Colorado called Nightbringer. Really good stuff. If anyone is interested I'll post a link.
"They came to us as gods and we, like fools, took them at their word. Mephet'ran the Deceiver, Aza'gorod the Nightbringer, Iash'uddra the Endless Swarm; I curse their names, and the names of all their malevolent brethren."

Fixed for you.
They have a new album coming out soon, too. Have you listened to Bestia Arcana Gelston?
Also, thanks. Sometimes I am smart. Other times not.

Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross - Gone Girl soundtrack
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C_lJchhzuvE
Trent Reznor is the musical genius of our generation...right up there with Bach and Beethoven.
You might not personally like what he puts out, but you can't deny the raw talent...well, yeah, you probably could deny that too, but you'd be completely ignorant. Dude can play every instrument on the planet. Well.
I've got to stop you there. You do a fine job of keeping hyperbole out of your political posts. It's a shame to see it rearing its head in the far more important world of music. Trent may be talented, but he's no Bach. In 200 years, no one will even know Trent's name, while Bach will still be considered the father of western music. I respect Trent's body of work as much as the next guy (especially his most recent work), but let's return to reality, shall we?
