I think we need to take a step back and say these killers are individuals with mental problems. Nothing about them will make sense of the senseless acts they commit.

Not too long ago Democrats were murdered in their own homes by a guy wearing a fucking mask. The killer even shot their dog. He was going to go on a spree but got caught thankfully.

You want to parse out political leanings of the psychopaths. If you are going to do that at least be consistent.

Trump says he is open to the idea of labeling Antifa and other violent leftwing agitators as domestic terrorists organizations. I think this is an appropriate step in curbing the rise of violence from the left. The federal government should devote resources and watch potentially violent leftists on social media just like we do ISIS. He also discussed bringing RICO charges on anyone involved in planning or funding such violent events.

I don't think there's anything wrong with keeping tabs on violent organizations. We do it with white supremacist groups here in America. If there is a violent group it should be monitored and stopped before anyone gets killed.

It's crazy to me that calling people who are against fascism, anti-fascist, are bad people. Unless of course you're a fascist. I'm not going to claim that anti-fascists are nonviolent. But they're going to have a hell of a time identifying who they are because it's not any kind of organization.

But I will tell you I am concerned about this administration taking it too far and calling all criticism of them as being hate speech. For example if I say Trump is the worst president ever my worry is this administration is going to take that as some sort of anti-fascist statement and lock me up or worse.

Or are you going to point to the fact that he was a registered Republican back in 2004... but was appointed by Tim Walz to the Workforce Development Board where he was already working.. because he was put there by another Democrat Mark Dayton...

It's not a bipartisan issue.. it's mostly a left wing issue.. and you make excuses for them or pretend they aren't in your party.

We normal minded people say hate speech doesn't exist and should not be made illegal. Our first amendment protects against so called hate speech. It’s the left that wants to censor and make illegal hate speech. Hate speech is nothing more than speech YOU hate.

It’s your constitutional right to call Trump an orange literal Hitler or whatever you want to make up. It’s my constitutional right to call you a faggot ass nigger loving kike hater with hard Rs. Free speech protects me & you from the government arresting or fining us, but not from the social consequences of offensive (aka hate) speech.

Note, the first amendment does not protect against inciting or direct calls to violence. That is a completely separate topic.
