Same.

But all we hear from the WH is "President Biden will not be pardoning his son" at every turn.. as if Biden is some upstanding parent.

The only reason Hunter pled guilty (while still proclaiming himself innocent.....) is so Daddy can pardon him on the way out... or if God forbid and the world is about to end.. Kamala wins and she pardons him.

I don't think it's the only reason he pled guilty. I think some things would have come out in discovery implicating family members.

Hunter doesn't come across as someone who looks out for others.. even family members. He probably wouldn't be fucking his dead brother's wife if he was that concerned.

He was obviously offered assurances that he will never see the inside of a jail cell in exchange for his sudden guilty pleas.

Eh, Presidents can pardon before legal proceedings even begin, so I don't think that is the reason he pled guilty. It may just be because it would look more proper to pardon him after the legal proceedings.

It's just funny seeing the same people who called Trump a dictator and a tyrant for supposedly asking if he could pardon his son (back when Democrats were 100% certain each and every Trump family member was going to be behind bars while he was still president) now saying it's perfectly fine for a president to pardon his own son.

I predict that, if Hunter Biden is sentenced to more than 3 months in prison, then Pres. Biden will commute his sentence so that Hunter does not have to serve time in jail. I do not think Biden will pardon Hunter.

EDIT: Or as soon as the election results are in, since democrats will at least try to decide that it's gonna take an extra 3 weeks to count all the votes.
