Is it the "slung over his shoulder" part that is bugging you? Because that is part of the new clothing system. Shoulder-slung items will now show up in your inventory as "slung over his/her shoulder" as well as front-worn items will show....blah blah blah "worn over" a blah blah blah.Quote:

Nah, it was "a slender quiver lashed with twin sheaths"... and the merchant made up some crazy rule about you can't have two items in one, or some BS (I asked her to quote it out of the alters). I pointed out how crossed back quivers and sheaths had sold off the shelf numerous times, and variants were altered quite regularly, and how cross back-sheaths are sold every day off the shelf in the rogues guild. Said merchant got all pissy and just handed the item back saying she wasn't going to argue.

Lame. She took forever on Zuie's elven crest. WHICH WASN'T MY FAULT. I had the alter done and everything, I guess she had to reword some things or look into it.
Meh, anyways I paid for all the other peoples alters too. So neeyah.
The two-items-in-one idea is getting pretty ridiculous, considering as of a few months ago I have a few tunics with cinchers made. Apparently now, you can only get tunics with sashes, or items small enough that could be conceivably sewn into the fabric.
Yet another prominent example of the GMs who run merchants and their inconsistencies.
Most any creature in the game can now drop veil iron or black ora, but don't you dare try to break the clothing system by wearing a corseted tunic.Quote:

And Allereli, that's not an issue... when I was talking to the GM who did my sheath, she said I could use a backpack for a back-worn one.
edit: I can't find it, it may have sold. But it was a quiver and sheath combo item. LA shoulderworn, IIRC.
She may be the same one who wouldn't let me have calf-length trousers when there are scads of knee-high, thigh-high, and knee-length items around.
