What Are You Wearing?

I didn't have a chance to post this last night, but here it is now. Everything is off the shelf except the collar (shown before) and the half-mask I was fortunate enough to have done shortly before the Baerl.


You see Great Lady XXXXXX the Curer.
She appears to be an Aelotoi of the Mrae'ni Clan.
She is shorter than average and appears to be young and sprightly. She has sparkling dark hazel eyes and ivory skin. She has waist length, wavy auburn hair swept back from the temples. She has a heart-shaped face and high cheekbones. She has a pair of crystal green wings.
She has a pair of teardrop sapphire earrings in the ridges of both her ears.
She is in good shape.
She is wearing a veniom-set sapphire teardrop ferroniere, a sapphire-set hammered silver half-mask, a slim firestone collar, a wide velveteen choker set with a dragonseye sapphire, a deep cobalt satin cotehardie with narrow pointed sleeves, a twisted ora and azure blazestar ring, a thin silver-link waistchain, a delicate watered silk fan, and some sparkling crystal-heeled slippers.

She appears to be a Half-Sylvan.
She is short in stature and appears to have come of age. She has long-lashed, expressive twilight blue eyes and smooth, creamy skin. She has long, silky raven black hair that flows smoothly down her back, curling at the tips to brush against her hips. She has a finely contoured symmetrical face, an upturned nose and wide hips. She has petite, upswept ears that taper to delicate points.
She has a set of five lustrous onyx rings in the ridges of both her ears.
She is in good shape.
She is wearing an elegant choker of silver-linked discs of pure onyx, a shoulder-pinned smoky emerald damask cloak, a square-necked emerald silk kirtle with layered underskirts of fine black netting, a pair of thin black ribbon wristlets, a lapis inset mistwood ring, and some black silk pointy-toed slippers.


Jaysehn proposed last night, so she's showing off the ring again. :)

Man moves fast for having dated several other women at once only a few months ago. :D


There a show on the ring?

It's been six months, so I don't think that's too terribly quick.

Ring: Framed by the pale golden mistwood band, an inset layer of parchment-thin lapis adorns the center of this ring. The wood's grain, visible even through the lapis, weaves its way through the ring like zephyr-blown wisps of fine mist. A translucent layer of delicate vaalin foil rests over the lapis, richly enhancing its illusion of depth. At the apex of the ring, a tiny ivory falcon dances with an ebony raven, as though the majestic birds soar among alabaster clouds on an autumn vanilla sky.
There appears to be something written on it.

In the Sylvankind language, it reads:
In this life or the next, there will never be a day when I won't think of you.

She is wearing a faenor and twisted vaalin geldaralad dangling a silvery lor leaf-carved pearl, a flowing pale cream silk mantle, an opalescent vaalin leaf collar, a silk gauze overgown traced with faenor-threaded leaves, an onyx-inlaid malachite band, a silk-laced pale ivory cotehardie, and a pair of backless alabaster moire slippers.

She is tall and appears to be young. She has long-lashed warm russet gold-flecked eyes and silky smooth, lightly sunkissed skin. She has hip-length, soft flaxen blonde hair captured and bound at the nape of the neck by several wooden beaded braids tied in a casual knot. She has a delicate face, a straight nose and thin-tipped pointed ears.
She has a tattoo of winding flower petals on her ankle.
She is wearing a lavender purple-tongued orchid tucked behind her ear, an opalescent vaalin leaf collar, a back-split dark velvet frock coat with exaggerated cuffs, a royal purple silk corset, a breezy white silk shirt, a bracelet of pale feystone orchids tangled in vaalin vines, a pair of side-laced ebon chamois pants, and a pair of purple velvet buskins laced with orchid-hued ribbons.

New outfit for today. A number of pieces have never been worn before.

She appears to be a Nalfein Elf.
She is very tall and appears to be youthful. She has intense ultramarine-hearted argentine eyes and unblemished, translucent pale skin. She has long, gleaming silver hair drawn back from her face and bound in place by a thrice-draped eahnor chain circlet set with a rose-etched black onyx cabochon. She has a delicate, finely boned face and gracefully upswept ears tapering to sharp points. Her smooth and slender hands feature long, dextrous fingers.
She is in good shape.
She is holding a kris-bladed slashed crimson fan in her right hand.
She is wearing a three-tiered choker wound with tendrils of sinuous gold filigree, a wide-necked wine red silk mantle, a bronze silk overgown with garnet beads bleeding up the hem over a cherry satin kirtle edged with knotwork-patterned gold and black brocade, an eahnor filigree signet ring, and a pair of bronze silk slippers with sharply pointed toes.

Kirtle is another unaltered Nalea, and the ring has also been shown before. The cabochon in the gem holder and the overgown were bought at the festival.

She is tall and appears to be very young. She has tilted azure-limned pale green eyes and ivory skin. She has long, smooth mahogany hair drawn back from her face and bound in place by an interlocking silver ring circlet. She has long, gracefully pointed ears with a slight bend at the tips. She has full, softly curved pale pink lips. A faint pattern of criss-crossed scars encircles her wrists.
She is wearing an alabaster suede and silk pack, an ash-toned bloodwood case slung over her shoulder, a narrow-waisted ivory suede jacket, an ivory-boned dark carmine corset, a wide-sleeved ivory chainsil shirt, a bias-cut grey wool skirt with a calf-length hem, and a pair of white ankle-tie silk slippers.

Pack: The outer hull of this pack has been crafted of panels of finely brushed alabaster suede, the texture buttery to the touch. Nearly translucent filament binds the seams, creating a wan-hued plane that seems nearly uninterrupted. Within the pack, marbrinus in a deep sanguine shade lines the suede, giving contrast to the paleness and creating luxurious confines, edged in a myriad of pockets and loops fitted for storage.

Case: (Ran into Verrath a few weeks ago and he did this for her. I love it.) Swirled with rich hues of deep grey, the grain of the case flows in smooth, wavy patterns, the dark hues bleeding together into a central spiral. Rising from the oxblood wood grain are gleaming thorns of matte steel, following the spiral designs in a sinuous dance of black upon incarnadine. Within the very core of the swirled patterns lies a heart crafted of ruby, its edges pierced and cracked open viciously by the ring of thorns that coalesces around its glimmering borders.

Definitely agreed, but I think anyone with a 'shoulder-slung' item should get one Get Out Jail Free Alter card for the forced "I have a shoulder-slung satchel slung over my shoulder."
