Xx fan eh? Up and coming band here in MSP for sure. Speaking of local talent, I saw Lucy Michelle (of Lucy Michelle and the Velvet Lapels) playing a solo set at a benefit in the basement of Java Jack's on Saturday. Awesome talent and a distinctive sound.
Oh, and I went to the G-Love and Special Sauce concert Sunday and Prince was sitting 5' away from me, up in the owner's box.
AND... I won tickets to Ted Leo and Pharmacists at the benefit! Big music week I guess.
And just to be on topic, currently listening to The Current, streaming radio: Hockey, "Song Away."
