He has zero grounds to recuse himself. There have been far more reasons for Judges to recuse themselves and they didn't.

There are no olive branches. We are in a cultural cold war. A minority of the nation is winning the war at the moment and they're doing it with a scorched earth strategy.

No one can make Kavanaugh recuse. It's an honor system thing. He did go on national TV blaming the democrats, left wing organizations and a plan to get revenge for the Clinton's. He also said that what goes around comes around. He should recuse from any case where this testimony can be called up and used to question his judgement. He won't though.

If we're being honest the President would have withdrawn him and gotten someone less problematic. There's 330 million people for whom trump is president. He should try to be a leader for all of us. That's not going to happen. Instead of taking the high road he and his people dismiss her testimony and some, like the guys we have here, go as far as to say she's a liar.

There will be no olive branches. Just consolidation of power until we don't even recognize what America used to stand for.
