Orbs of vaalin have been kept in their natural state, each one caught to the next in a web of spun vaalin webbing to form each bangle. Their various widths made to float around the wrist loosely, tiny slivers of mistvein sapphires spill throughout the piece like a mosiac - reflecting light off their faceted surfaces. Secured along the back of the bangles is a slender, hand blown crystal vial bearing a delicate stopper.

l slippers
Pale silk the hue of snow covers the subtle platform lifting these unique slippers, vaalin gilding creating a flurry of patterns up the outer edges of the shoes. A thickening of the arch can be noticed, lending additional support due to the lack of heels - instead quartz points seem to grow outward from the underside like a geode. Spidersilk criss-crosses over the top like a glistening web, giving a flexibility and security to the wearer.

Panels of ebon fabric are laid into the center of the piece and adorned with embroidered copper and ebon paisley designs, while upon the opposite side a series of star-shaped images are created using sea glass beads.

Rohese has an infusion of fruit scents about her - foremost among them a zest of pink grapefruit followed by a touch of succulent passionfruit. The sweetness of the fruits are evened by a trace of aqueous lychee and deepened by a silky thread of dark vanilla.

Wet molded leather stained a deep hue, the mask is fashioned in the shape of a vulture's beak and upper face. Set with a thin edging of sanguine eahnor to keep its shape, the inner lining is a pale argent silk mottled with darker hues. A dusting of crushed anthracite gives the mask an overall eerie sheen.

collar
Constructed like a cage from dark eahnor, the collar is designed to support the chin and spread down across the decolletage in curved talons. Caught like a web between each spine, pure sanguine eahnor spreads wildly to follow the curve of the piece. Several smooth cabochons of jet are set into the center of each talon, their filigree settings almost blending into the piece. Shadows engulf the dark eahnor collar.


slippers
Pale silk the hue of snow covers the subtle platform lifting these unique slippers, vaalin gilding creating a flurry of patterns up the outer edges of the shoes. A thickening of the arch can be noticed, lending additional support due to the lack of heels - instead quartz points seem to grow outward from the underside like a geode. Spidersilk criss-crosses over the top like a glistening web, giving a flexibility and security to the wearer.

He is very tall and appears to be middle-aged. He has piercing, onyx-edged glacial blue eyes and smoothly tanned skin. He has shoulder length, straight bourbon brown hair worn in a ponytail. He has a molded crimson leather raven mask partially covering his face and well-muscled shoulders and arms. He has a neatly groomed beard gathered below the chin with a crimson glaes bead.
He has a series of wailing faces tattoo on his arm, and a skull-carved bone stud in his right eyebrow.

Orssus has an arctic scent, biting and pure, like brittle pine needles caked in ice and snow, hovering in the air about him and undercut by faint, warming undertones of cedar.

Thin strips of crimson leather have been layered one by one over the moulded base to form an almost feather-like appearance, each one dusted with an iridescent sheen for realism. Added true feathers along the outer edges hides the ties, its deep ebon silk lining providing comfort for wear.

This was for a first time appearance at Court. She was told to wear "Culturally Traditional Dress-up Clothing." This is what I came up with:

You see Tuilinneth Yridhremben the Gypsy.
She appears to be a Sylvankind of the Lassaran D'ahranal.
She is shorter than average and appears to be very young. She has almond-shaped jade green eyes and soft, creamy white skin. She has very long, copper-tinged ginger hair with some miniature honey-spotted sky blue daisies woven into the strands. She has a dainty face, a small nose and slightly upswept pointed ears.
She has a trio of hollow amber hoops set along the slender tips of her pointed ears.
She is in good shape.
She is wearing a twine-strung round glaesine orb, a sleeveless gauzy organza surcote, a quilted viridian corsage, a long ivory cotton bliaut edged in a dark wheat hue, a series of alternating thanot and haon bangles, a slender tapestry weave belt, a white birch envelope pouch, and a simply woven ankle-cuff of delicate mistwood leaves and indigo swallow feathers.

Sleeveless and pleated at the shoulders, the surcote is fashioned of gauzy, jewel-toned organza that is multilayered for durability. Tone-on-tone tacking stitches bind the edges of the garment together to create a finished edge, while viridian vines speckled with niveous edelweiss blossoms adorn the label and trace a wavy line down to the unfettered lengths where they disappear into the voluminous hem.

Fashioned of green chainsil, the simple corsage has a diamond pattern quilted into its facing that is embellished with amber beads at the various points. Bright white stitches accent the entire piece, while copper eyelets adorn the back and are threaded with dark rawhide laces.

look belt
Woven of several skeins of brightly dyed linen threads, the tapestry weave belt depicts the image of a meadow in the evening. Viridian hues represent the grasses along the bottom of the piece, while ebon and silver darken a star-spangled sky. Dandelion puffs launch from their home upon bright green stems in the right and float across the belly of the piece. Dancing between the seeds are bright saffron yellow fireflies.

The orb is a perfume holder.

The ankle-cuff is a weave-able item.

I feel bad because I had to kind of throw this together. Many of the items I was able to buy in Player Shops, but some of them are from another outfit that I had previously created. Overall, I think it came out rather nicely. Though, I am open to critiquing. Please be gentle.

A smooth bronze pauldron sculpted to resemble a coiled snake rests on the shoulder easily, its open maw set to strike the wearer's throat with glistening vaalin fangs. The soft suede of the cape is dyed to a deep satin merlot, giving the garment the impression of the snakes conquest falling from its realistic coils. Several copper chains attach to one corner of the cape, and wrap under the opposite arm to fasten at the base of the serpent's tail.

Something fun for Fashion Faux Pas and Feral Finds. Not only is it sensual and flowing, it's diamond-dusted spidersilk AND it has puffed sleeves!

A large coin-sized moonstone the shade of the deepest night is carved into an almond shape with a bisecting pupil-like slit, the stone's angular shape mimicking a sideways eye. A swirling nebula of citrine inside the pupil shifts as though it looks outward, the contrasting hues warring along the edge of the carving. Iridescent vaalin filigree catches the eye before coiling like tendrils to grasp the gem, holding it in place while flourished coils radiate outward from the core.

necklace (FWI transporter)
You see your necklace. Strung on a thin braided silver chain, a smooth piece of opalescent rainbow moonstone is shaped into large smooth teardrop. Silver wire wraps delicately around the edges with a single swirl across the back to keep it in place, the toggle clasp mimicking the simple elegance of the piece with a spiral hook and loop.

pauldron
Fashioned from deep sanguine eahnor, the pauldron features a perfectly smooth surface buffed to a matte finish, its curving surface hammered to fit over the shoulder snugly with a razor sharp edge. Etched into the center of the top curve, a crest of an elegantly scripted "T" haloed by twisting thorned rose vines flanked by a seated jackal on the right with a rampant jackal on the left. Several thin ebon suede straps secure the piece easily with small elaborate eahnor talons serving for fastenings.

band (Black Ice ring)
Crafted from a single piece of jade the color of pure white snow, a dark stain encompasses the inner edge of the band offering a strange contrast. Channel-set down the center to lend a frosted look to the jewelry are smooth frost opals, each with its trademark plethora of pale blue and pink refractions at its heart. An inscription runs along one edge of the band, its lettering reminiscent of frozen water.

boots
Cut from flexible and soft leather dyed a deep ebon, the boots feature turned down thigh-high cuffs lined in scarlet silk. Running up the back to secure the boots, eahnor straps capped with wickedly sharp talons pull from one side and coil into black steel grommets on the other. Arching from a thin platform, the sole has been reinforced against the lack of heel and adorned with an eahnor inlay mimicking thorned vines.

Threads of silvery mithril shimmer against a background of stark black ebonwood, outlining the bas-relief form of a blackbird centered on a small heartwood disk. Scarlet-tinted kakore leaves accent a band of ochre amber along the bird's shoulders, before tapering off into realistically carved feathers layered across outstretched wings. Two dull black feathers hang from a small moonstone bead, which attaches the talisman to a fibrous cord necklace. Secured along the back of the talisman is a slender, hand blown crystal vial bearing a delicate stopper.

blue amber pendant
A network of spindly maoral roots creates a labyrinthine enclosure around a uniquely shaped amber nodule that rivals a cloudless spring sky in color. The pendant itself hangs upon a necklace of knotted cattail cordage, simplistic in its testament to nature's austere beauty.

cloak
Edged with dull black feathers along its deeply recessed hood, the circle of finely-combed wool carries a neutral grey-green hue with a thin, quilted lining of matching chainsil. Light honey amber beads tip suede cords, which have been braided into five-plait ties and then drawn through barely exposed slits beneath the hood's many folds. Repeating stylized geometric shapes edge the ankle-length hem, embroidered in a subtle viridian shade. You are currently wearing this cloak with the hood down.

elkhide hunts
Tawny elkhide, burnished unevenly with ochre, presents a mottled appearance to the base material of this suit, which has been tailored to fit like a second skin under clothing. A high collar, secured by a serrated amber leaf hung from a mithril buttonhook, closely guards the neck. Adjustable sinew cross-lacing runs through mithril eyelets down the small of the back, the side of each thigh, and the inside of each forearm, while no other buckles or lacing are visible to the eye. You also notice a small enchanter's glyph.

There's a lot of deep character symbolism worked into what she wears, as would be befitting a shaman/druid. She's a fun character to play.

Pattern on neck:
Beginning just below the jawline, an intricate pattern has been inked in the faintest silver. The lines weave over one another, growing gradually darker as the needle lace pattern expands. The lace's edge appears to drape lightly over the collar bone as it ends in a deep shade of silver-grey.

Talon rings:
Meant to be worn on the thumb, index, and middle fingers, this collection of articulated full-finger rings are linked by strand of barbed chain. Each plate has been blanketed in glittering pyramid-cut black pave diamonds. The final plates each terminate to a smooth wickedly curving talon that's been polished to a mirror finish.

Widowwood cuff:
You see your cuff. A much-aged shrub was sacrificed to create this wide wrist bauble. Roughly the span of three finger widths, this thick slice of widowwood has been hollowed and polished on the inside and left unaltered on the outside. Years of wear and exposure to the elements has softened the rough edges and left a beautiful satin finish on the bark. A painstakingly inlaid inscription in vaalin spans the inside, the white of the metal popping against the violet-blue hue of the wood.

It is surrounded by a scintillating light.

Harness: Fully unlocked Cidolphis thinger.

Gown: A rigid corset of pristine white cambric wraps itself around the alabaster silk, making the fabrics appear almost as one. Strands of vanilla pearls drape from the heart-shaped neckline, falling in tiers down the bust of the gown. Champagne taffeta has been bustled to traipse down around the hips. Niveous gossamer layers completely shield the slim underskirt from view. Gauzy peach-hued detached sleeves cover the arms, small tears along them add a hint of rebellion to the otherwise elegant attire.

Case:
Thin slats of yew and mahogany form the stripe-like facade of the container, each piece varnished in layers of clear lacquer to help further bind the woods. Draped at each corner are clusters of enamel cherry blossoms, the pink-colored flowers stretched upon branches of wrought copper. The limbs continue to wrap about the top of the case, twisting to form a small clasp to seal within the contents.

Socks: Rich cream color is the only similarity shared in this pair of mismatched paeline socks. Noticeably shorter, the left sock is solid cream in tone and sports a drooping bow on the outside cuff. Lightly ribbed, the right alternates bands of cream and pink, terminating at the top with a larger strip of the latter.

Relevant passages of cursive text alongside each of these miniatures prescribe her holy sacrament of honor, trust and love. Embossed into the cover is a gold leaf scroll overlaying five conjoined circles and along the spine can be seen the words, "The Rubrics of the Lumnis Breviary and Missal."

I love the idea of this thread, but it's definitely become a Barbie showcase. I'd love to see what people of other predilections are wearing.

Not a complete outfit, by any means, but something I had a lot of fun putting together and wanted to share. I didn't really intend to go nuts with the theme, but there were so many toys and dolls at EG this year..

an iron-barred ebon toybox - it's a metamorphic item, so it has two shows on it.

The once fancifully-carved toybox has seen better days. Chips and scratches mar the once pristine surface, and thick bands of metal have been riveted into place, reinforcing the container. Affixed to the lid of the toybox is a large iron padlock. Inset along the face of the box is a row of thin iron bars, giving the semblance of a tiny prison. Visible just behind the bars assorted dolls, puppets, and other toys can be seen, tiny hands thrust through the bars as though grasping for freedom.

He is wearing a deep brown rich leather longcoat clasped with a bronze-dipped faewood square, a jade and onyx-inset rose talisman, a brown silk shirt, a cordovan leather belt with an antiqued brass buckle, a pair of crisp walnut linen pants with rolled back cuffs, and a pair of square-toed brown leather shoes.

You see your talisman. Pieces of jade and onyx are set into background of pale faewood to form this talisman, strung from a simple knotted leather cord. The tiles of jade have been cleverly placed around the outside of the onyx shards, defining the edges and forming the image of a stylized onyx rose against the green jade background. The narrow faewood frame which encompasses the gem shards appears to be carved with a random pattern, but upon closer inspection resolves into a repeating pattern of tiny roses.

The base outfit is actually not bad as far as most GS outfits go. I would stow the FWI transporter when not in use, ditch the Aspis pin (you already have the tabard), stow the shield and instrument case, and maybe get a plain haversack. Unless there's a reason a giantman is walking around with a haversack from a halfling pirate ship? Could be a good story there.

I assume there must be a story behind the dried blood too, otherwise I would ditch that.

You also have a swordbelt, vatanura (waist sash), and belted kilt- I might drop one of those since it's a lot going on around the waist area. Probably the vatanura since he's not Erithian, unless you have good reasoning for wearing it.

I'd also sort up the platemail in your inventory so it goes amulet, jacket, tabard, platemail, shirt, swordbelt, pouch, ring, kilt, boots... and you're good to go!

Dolman: Sewn from pale cloud grey silk satin with darker stormy undertones, this dolman is tailored to drape closely to a thigh-length hemline and features wide sleeves set in low armscyes. The deep pointed hood is edged with a broad band of black velvet, and matching fabric lines the interior pouches. A penannular brooch crafted as a stylized sickle clasps the garment at the throat, cast in silver and inlaid with niello in an elaborate design of windswept feathers.


Crest: The gold frame of the crest has the arch clearly divided into seven distinct sections in the imperial style. Within, on a field of perfect sapphire blue, an elegant elven script separates the images of a peacock pavonated and a blooming ivory gardenia with amethyst-suffused edges. A trio of sharpened, slightly curved silver quills forms the flourish, and the piece is flanked left with two entwined sprigs of cothinar and to the right with a crimson-fletched broken golden arrow.

On the side are embroidered ten diamond-inset silver stars, positioned to perfectly resemble the constellation known as The Guardian.

Set within the jade, thin slivers of black diamonds glint across the kite's feathers, and two trillion-cut maernstrike diamonds serve as her brilliant eyes.

Rohese has in the air about her a shroud, as light as feathered wings, held aloft by a breath of wisteria incense stirred by strands of niveous calla lily. Chords of white sandalwood and rose attar thread languidly throughout, underscored by a touch of frankincense.

The locket was once delicately engraved with ornate florals culminating in a wrought silver leaf clasp. Small areas have been worn away on both sides of the locket revealing its age and suggesting its overuse. Inside the locket a single portrait painted in miniature depicts a human couple, warmth radiating from their faces. The faded colors refuse to diminish the joy of the pair as the woman glances down at the smiling infant in her arms, the proud father watching them both.

Claid:
Maiden-white vaalorn forms the heavy, straight blade, with the intense blue ripples beaten into its surface and appearing to flow like water. The patterns merge towards the ricasso, forming the likeness of a cresting wave. A square steel crossguard brutally interrupts the blade's artistry, narrowing into a sharkhide grip. A bulbous silver niello-inlaid pommel completes the long weapon's curves.

Pack: Judging by the numerous holes haphazardly patched with various swatches of leather, linen and what appears to be part of an imperial banner, this canvas pack has seen better days. Various loops and pockets designed to hold a myriad of supplies ranging from cookware to weapon cleaning kits give the pack a bulbous, lumpy appearance.

Moth ring: Mounted on a slender band of creamy white vaalin is a segmented thorax of three tiny golden glimaerstones from which extends a pair of lobed wings, the smooth metal beaten so thinly that they appear to flutter with the slightest movement. Engraved around the band in an elegant script are the words, "The Looking Glass".

Cincher: Cut to flatter without constricting, the cincher's panels are made of almond-toned bourde with thin charcoal stripes. A series of silver filigree clasps, each featuring an open calligraphic design, cleverly resemble a vine of ivy leaves with coiling tendrils when interlocked down the spine. When fully fastened, the cincher is designed to fit snugly below the bust and create an hourglass silhouette. A bustle of cream silk is tucked neatly into the lowest twists of silver with trailing grey satin ribbons.

Gown is a fully unlocked Farusteri: A small silk tag with silver stitching has been discreetly sewn inside the neckline of the natural silk gown that reads, "Customized especially for Rohese."

Rohese has the scent of sweet white jasmine, garden rose, and night-blooming columbine, floating elegantly in the air about her.

A penannular brooch crafted as a stylized sickle clasps the garment at the throat, cast in silver and inlaid with niello in an elaborate design of windswept feathers.

Crest: The gold frame of the crest has the arch clearly divided into seven distinct sections in the imperial style. Perched in the center of flower is a moth of the same name, its wings fanned out as if resting. The delicate creature has soft brown forewings marked with five tiny pink and white spots.

This ornate hexagonal shaped carry case is glazed with a beautiful amber sheen and fired with a heat glazed finish. Tonal sandalwood suede bindings are attached firmly with shiny brass eyehooks and grommets on each corner that strap in disambiguated patterns across the back. The highly varnished case appears diminutive in shape and size, yet appears to carry a great deal.

The hues blend together seamlessly into each other, creating a soft color palette, similar to a sunset. On top of the pigments is a stylized sketched lily outlined crisply in black ink.

A twining green vine wraps around her waist, one end curling slightly around her navel. Here and there along the vine, several flowers are inked in brilliant hues, each one detailed down to the tiny stamens and dew drops on the petals. A white geranium is central on the vine, and it is flanked by two bougainvillea blossoms. Finally, tiny purple lilac blossoms dot the vine in between the other flowers, adding a contrast to the green vine.

Black ink surrounds three blooming violets, offering a sharp contrast to the vibrant colors. Large sweeping lines of blue, purple, and red ink spiral outwards along each petal of the violets. Teal cross-hatching surrounds each flower, cascading down to a darker emerald shade traveling down the vines. A large collection of leaves are intricately inked together in the shape of a leafy heart just beneath the tattoo.

I agree with that. Actually, i think the heights should be based on what your character sees. So to a halfling, many races would be towering in height.

Frothy skirts, comprised of uneven layers of tulle, lace, and silk haphazardly mingled with lengths of ribbon, leather and beads create a whimsical feel to the thigh-length dress. choker: Cameo choker - Weighed down by the ornate frame at its center, the scrolling floral lace choker descends in a tapering fall, the slender angles adding a subtle elegance to the otherwise whimsical fabric. Variegated pearls comingle with glass beads and small diamonds to create a striking, layered backdrop for the brooch centerpiece.

case:
Thin slats of yew and mahogany form the stripe-like facade of the container, each piece varnished in layers of clear lacquer to help further bind the woods. Draped at each corner are clusters of enamel cherry blossoms, the pink-colored flowers stretched upon branches of wrought copper. The limbs continue to wrap about the top of the case, twisting to form a small clasp to seal within the contents.

tattoo: Ebon lines of varying weights mark her pale skin, dramatically outlining a writhing octopus sprawling across her left hip and down her thigh. Inside, delicate ashen and charcoal shades both highlight and shadow the entity intricately, conveying an air of subtle malevolence. Shirt : Layers of sheer cotton gauze have been wrapped and sewn repeatedly to form the opaque yet breathable fabric of the shirt. The torso is fastened down the left side with a series of small obsidian buttons, and the long otherwise-bloused sleeves are designed to cinch tightly with cords threaded from within the layers of fabric from wrist to shoulder. The folded collar of the garment is fashioned with a similar looseness, draping down on both sides of the V-shaped neckline.

Trousers : Well cut and meticulously tailored from ebony-hued organdy, the trousers are designed to fit sleekly from waist to ankles. Amethyst embroidery winds languidly down the outside seam of each pant leg in stylized circular designs, the hue lending subtle contrast to the dark organdy. Cords of the same pale purple cinch in the calves of the pants, keeping it free from entangling when worn with boots.

Signet : Unbroken engraving in the pure eahnor forms an etched silver frame encircling the onyx cabochon set band. Captured within this boundary is an elven crest, a scarlet pentacle on a field of grey. Two nightshade blossoms, aligned from stem to petal, lay within the arch of the crest, forming a graceful flourish. A clenched platinum fist occupies the paternal flank, opposite to a fully-bloomed Lady's Slipper. Rendered in flight, a blood-eagle, talons grasping a teardrop bloodjewel, serves as the signifier.

Her small, yet distinctively sloping nose is perfectly offset by the bowed curve of her upper lip, while her slender neck and delicate bone structure enhance her fragile appearance. A diminutive teardrop of ultramarine glimaerstone is positioned between her eyes, which casts a sparkling mercurial sheen across her face.
She has a pair of white-feathered wings protruding from her back and wrapped protectively around her.

Buttery soft suede, silvery grey in hue, has been stretched tightly across the high vamp of these backless shoes to ensure a tight but comfortable fit. The subtle blend of colors displayed by the napped finish gives the leather an almost metallic quality which is accentuated by the tiny steel rivets along the welt. Precariously balanced on a contoured rowan wood platform beneath just the ball of the foot, the sole arcs gracefully upward and leaves the heel completely exposed and unsupported.

Rohese has a well-meshed collection of woodland scents haunting the air about her -- detectable are fresh pine sap, oak, dew-damp moss, and patchouli.

Crafted from wood panelled with a rosy burnished copper, the body of this cylindrical case features a length-wise flap as the only opening. Lining the base of the interior are layers of thick white cotton, stopping just short of a latch securing the opening of a separate compartment large enough to hold a few cubes of ice. A circular plate etched with an oak leaf is affixed to one flat side alongside the fettered end of a dark leather belt loop.

Narrow stays support panels of matte gold leather to ensure a tapering silhouette when the lacing is pulled taut through a spinal column of copper grommets. Radiating upwards and outwards from the basque waist, a blend of tawny and claret foil leaves cover the entire bodice in a blaze of autumnal color, their veins accented by gilt threadwork. Similar stitching frames the exposed decolletage, rising to a flared collar of grouse feathers, cradling the back of the head in rust red plumage.

Rohese has a near smothering veil of hardwood smoke about her, darkened by black musk and redeemed only slightly by a lucent ember of heliotrope burning in the background. From beneath the soot of the head notes rise strains of cassis and bitter-green inclusions of wormwood.

Situated upon intricately carved and tapered heels of fragrant balsam wood, these pompes appear to offer minimal comfort to those daring enough to wear them. Buttery soft doeskin in a pale caramel hue joins with a golden noil silk lining to comprise the upper portion of these slippers, while tiny almandine garnets dot irregularly across the vamp, allowing for a hint of color on an otherwise neutral backdrop.

Scattered throughout the floriated choker are a blend of varied green, orange, and red jade-carved leaves, adding hints of autumnal color to the piece.

Square in shape, this highly decorative case boasts a front panel of cedar marquetry lacquered for a mirror finish and accented with polished gold hinges and hasp. Intermittent tans of blonde tortoiseshell within the geometric design complement the lighter streaks inherent in the reddish-brown softwood, whilst a rigid framework of kakore slats line the interior to provide convenient compartments for all manner of small and large items.

Rohese has a gilded miasma of fragrance on her skin, with notes of pale golden musk, honeycomb, and amber foremost in attendance. Beneath run streams of parma violet and hawthorn bark, faintly sweet with a touch of bitter, over low-lying currents of white moss and wild berry.

Her neck is long and sinewy, accentuating her fey-like countenance. A braid of claret dragonstalks is wrapped around her waist.
She has a ring of elven runes tattoo on her ankle, and a spiral of gold-threaded jacinths in the upper ridge of her left ear.

She is wearing a red-gold fox fur mantle, an off-shoulder autumnal gown with a skirt of silk leaves over a lace-edged golden satin underskirt, and some shimmering aqilorn spike-heeled shoes buttoned with firebird stones.

You have the blended scent of almond oil and plum blossom bathing your skin in delicate redolence. Deeper cinnamon amber base notes arise from the initial sweetness with traces of fire and spice.

You see your earrings. A length of thin gilded wire connects each small stud to a drop pendant earring. Whilst the head of the fish is static, with the bale attached to the tip of its nose, six segments of solid silver make up its slender body and are articulated to allow for subtle movement. Glossy celadon-hued enamel adds texture and interest to an already singular piece of craftsmanship, with accents of vibrant turquoise and pearlised creamy white inlay on the underside of the caudal fin.

Strung from a simple silver chain, the locket is fashioned of a rough piece of driftwood that has been fused to an ovoid of flatted silver. Clear lacquer allows the driftwood to be preserved and prevents any splintering or fracturing, while the image of a single trident has been burned into the wood. A small oval hasp on the door of the piece allows it to be secured in place as the need arises. (bonded and with a portrait of the hubs inside)

Rohese has the scent of sweet white jasmine, garden rose, and night-blooming columbine, floating elegantly in the air about her.

She has an oval face and narrow, delicately pointed ears. Though her features are predominantly Sylvan, subtleties in the shape of her face and the tilt of her eyes appear faintly Erithian.
She has a pair of tiny silver loops set along the slender tips of her pointed ears.

She is wearing an oxidized steel kraken choker, a painted black satin underbust corset over a puff-sleeved teal satin blouse with a ruffled bib neckline, a coiled silver tentacle ring with tiny sculpted suckers, an enamel blossom-framed case, a bustled storm grey taffeta skirt overlaid with an ombre of teal glass shards, and some polished onyx leather knee-boots lofted on cast steel tentacles.

Corset: Rich, ink black satin hides the subtle boning of this underbust corset, creating a sleek backdrop for the artistic rendering of an angry kraken sprawling across its panels. The enormous creature spans the entire front of the corset, painted in ominous tones of grey that add stylized shades and highlights to the menancing aquatic monster. Contrasting the grey, long tentacles of soft pink undersides curl across the sides and back with tiny suckers detailed in a richer, deeper tone.

Skirt (joola): There is a slight ebon sheen to the storm grey taffeta of this prim skirt, creating dramatic shadows that play across the sheened fabric. A layer of beading shifts the color of the skirt where it gathers into a bustle, gently falling into a darker hue at the hem of each ruffled tier.

Although white at the pointed tips, the color varies along the length of both needles due to natural variations in the skeletal whalebone. The smooth, slender shafts terminate with a series of ebony dividers and decorative scrimshaw grooves.

Radiating from a bracelet of snug-fitting pale ivory tiles are a series of thin, carved bone extensions that resemble an anatomically correct arrangement of metacarpals and phalanges. Small copper rings at the end of each of the articulated digits attach to their corresponding fingertips so that the fully assembled piece mimics the structure of the whole hand it is meant to cover.

Rohese has an acerbic shroud drawn close about her, smoked with the incense of dry olibanum and vetiver, undercut by an earthy wisp of black moss. Deeper still are strains of opoponax, which lend a subtle and indefinable sweetness, laced with the metallic warmth of spilled blood.

Rohese has undercurrents of arctic fir wafting in the scent about her, chilling the powdery warmth of lilac blossoms until it is as cool as a fresh breath over mountain snow. Aqueous notes trail quickly behind, reviving the lilac and adding touches of lily to the ephemeral finish.
