When we get June’s inflation numbers and it is 2.5% or less, are you going to admit you are wrong?

Are you kidding, the Divine themselves could descend in a flaming ball of light, declare in a booming voice hear around the world that ClydeR and other Leftists are wrong and the lot of them would start with mental gymnastics to try and show how they right in some petty and semantic way.
I assume you mean the June figure annualized, meaning the inflation rate we would have for one year if every month were the same.
If June inflation is 2.5% just for the month of June, then the annualized rate would be more than 30%, which is unlikely.
Or you may mean the year-over-year inflation for the period ending on June 30, which will be the most widely reported number. That number could be 2.5% or less, since June will be only 1/12th of the months making it up. The April number was 2.3%.
If you mean the June figure annualized, then it will definitely be more way more than 2.5%.
cLyDeR, once again you’re confidently spewing economic nonsense like someone who’s never held a job, run a business, or even passed Econ 101.
You’re trying to scare people with this “annualized June inflation” garbage… but no serious economist or news outlet uses that as the primary inflation metric. People care about year-over-year inflation, not some imaginary doomsday projection where June magically repeats 12 times in a row.
The idea that “if June inflation is 2.5%, then the annualized rate would be over 30%” is technically true only if you think every single month will look exactly like June… which they won’t. That’s like saying, “If I eat 10,000 calories today, I’ll gain 300 pounds in a year.” Yeah, if you do it every day. But you won’t. And neither will inflation.
You also try to cover yourself with vague language like “could be” and “I assume,” but the reality is you’re just tossing around buzzwords to sound smart while misleading people. It’s clear you have no understanding of how inflation is measured, how it's reported, or how markets interpret it.
If you’re going to talk about inflation, maybe sit this one out until you’ve actually worked in a real economy… you know, the kind with jobs, budgets, and consequences.

See, just like this crap.
Yesterday was day 60 of the 90 days within which Trump promised 90 tariff deals. So far, we've signed zero deals. We have one tentative agreement with the UK, but until it's actually signed, it doesn't count.
Get a job CrydeR.
