And to answer your question tgo - the police found no evidence to back up his claims. I mean, that goes a lot further than a tweet from a "journalist".
The Portland Police Department was called in to investigate the matter. They even used their official Twitter profile to ask people that were hit with these milkshakes to report it to them directly. And, yet, despite all of the accusations made, and several milkshakes consumed with no deaths as a result, Portland PD has failed to offer any actual evidence that these milkshakes contained any quick-drying cement.

The police found no evidence that anyone else was hit with cement laden milkshakes so clearly this means he wasn’t hit with one and didn’t suffer any injuries as a result of the assault.

I was mistaken about him getting assaulted by patriot prayer, the wording in the article was a little confusing but another article set it straight. He wasn't assaulted by them he was just working with them.
