Except Democrats have called for officers to be tried for murder even in cases where the person they shot were wielding weapons and threatening the officers, so yes I think it's a perfect assumption that if this officer had shot a left wing protester in the neck they would be calling for the officer to be tried for murder.

The officer has already been suspended, hopefully murder charges will follow, but again probably not because lunatics such as time4fun and SHAFT are demanding blood.
