"But...but we're enriching the oil companies!!!11111" We are enriching our country as a whole when we produce and sell shit. That's how an economy works.

The "big evil oil companies" PAY Americans to extract that oil, then they PAY Americans to ship it all over the country, then oil refineries PAY Americans to refine the oil. All of those paychecks enrich AMERICANS, who then go on to spend that money in other sectors of the economy such as food, entertainment, telecommunication services, automobiles, etc. That money spent is then paid to other employees who go on to spend that money in other sectors of the economy. Even the money that isn't spent (you know paid to those evil execs) is invested into the economy in the form of stocks or bank accounts, which is then used to further build up the economy.

That's how a fucking economy works. The oil industry isn't just made up of a board of directors who stuff all of their cash under a mattress, you fucking tool.

I believe the Democrat party is very pro-socialism... they just know that it won't play well to Americans so they pretend they are not for it.

But a large part of their extremist base (which they have been catering to for 10+ years) is very pro-socialism.

You have to remember that to the Republicans in general, anything that isn't destroying the middle class, turning the poor into paycheck dependent serfs or abolishing taxes for corporations and exclusively the ultra wealthy is socialism.
