You asked a question and now you don't like the answer, stop whining.
Here are my answers that you won't like either.
To seem somewhat moderate he could:
A. Stop blaming Bush and Republicans.
B. Stop passing Marxist legislation.
C. Condemn his terrorist pal Ayers for being a terrorist and Rev Wright for being a racist hate mongering bigot.
D. Stop the systematic expansion of government.
E. Return his Peace Prize.
F. Stop trying to reframe every act of violence as an excuse to extend firearms bans, police powers and some great racial conspiracy.
G. Stop perpetrating the great Liberal Lie of victimization and champion personal responsibility.
H. Take responsibility for his administration and their glaring gaffs, oversights and flat out political douchebaggery and take up the slogan of one of the most progressive and moderate Presidents in the last 100 years, Harry S Truman.
I. Apologize to Whites, Tea Party members, Southerners and everyone else he has called un-American, terrorist, ignorant or otherwise belittled because they dared to disagree with his policies.
J. In any other substantial way, act, speak or govern in some semblance of a moderate way or position.
I understand there are many things you would blame Obama for (and yes, I specifically chose to include the Alamo's honky honky [dead honky] aggression verse [not versus] Mexico in this statement). What I asked was what he could say that would convince you otherwise. If the answer is "nothing", he's the rope and you're the dope. The idea that Richard Pryor would have access to chemicals that could create an altered state in anyone is just laughable, so I laugh ha ha ha.Quote:
Remember when Superman was given "tar" kryptonite by Richard Pryor and then Superman got drunk on Johnny Walker Red shortly before kicking his own ass? That was great.
This is a good answer, because it provides a testable hypothesis: if the President accepts blame for something, he is a moderate.Quote:

Here is an article from the midpoint where he absolves the Bush administration of all blame for the economy and takes it on himself. This was quite a deflating blow to the right, who could no longer declare that Obama blamed everything on Bush. I mean, you definitely can't find a post in this very thread that makes that declaration. That would just be silly.
Finally, here is an article from late 2012 where the President accepted "responsibility for the death of four Americans in the US embassy in Benghazi, Libya".
Now it can be said: Taernath agrees that President Obama is a moderate, or otherwise non-partisan. :heart:This is also very easy to address: No results found for "president obama calls whites un-american".. (Hilariously, that search returns three [3] sources of whites calling President Obama un-American: Karl Rove, akdart [whatever that is], and John Sununu.) In any event, Taernath, ~Rocktar~ and I agree that President Obama is a moderate, or otherwise non-partisan. :heart:Quote:

Please note that I have double-stamped this absolutely real quote (no erasies), and as you are well aware you can't triple-stamp a double-stamp, so I win.Taernath asked for cases of Obama taking responsibility, I have given him three cases of him explicitly doing so. If he wanted cases that Terrence Gunderson Olivier wouldn't infer a hidden message from in express contradiction to the explicit meaning, he should have asked for that.Quote:

I find out Y is not the case.
Therefore I no longer believe X.
Rationalizing is...

Ahh, the time-honored tradition of screaming out "RACISTS!!!"Quote:
Washington (CNN) - Rep. Charles Rangel on Tuesday compared what he considers the most intransigent members of the House Republican caucus with the Confederates of the American Civil War.
The last-minute holdups on a deal over funding the government and raising the debt ceiling, the longtime Democrat from New York City told CNN's Ashleigh Banfield, are not coming from conflict between Republicans and Democrats.
Rather, "this is all about a handful of people who got elected as Republicans that want to bring down our government. You can see it in the streets. You can see where they're coming from," Rangel said.
"The same way they fought as Confederates, they want to bring down the government and reform it."
Rangel was asked to confirm that he was referring to the Confederates of the Civil War. He told Banfield, "If you take a look at the states that they control, take a look at the Dixiecrats, see how they went over the Republican Party…"
To that Banfield pointed out that Michelle Bachmann, a major voice against Obamacare, is not a Dixiecrat but a Republican from Minnesota.
I seriously don't think any Liberal could get dumber then this...

Rep. Grayson continued:
“Tea Party members also have persisted in falsely characterizing the President as Kenyan and Muslim, despite all evidence, in order to disparage him. Let's be fair to the Tea Party, though. A hood will fit pretty much anyone, it's not a fitted garment.
And all these years I thought it was the democrat party who created the KKK as their paramilitary wing, established Jim Crow laws, and to this day accepts KKK members in it's ranks(most known was Robert Byrd). Who woulda thought that liberals on a forum board call GSplayers would have proven history wrong.
Neil Rogers played a song on his radio station about Condoleezza Rice. Lyrics include:
Condoleezza, Condoleezza, what you be doin'?
That neo-facist black-haired token schwartza dog.
Is you there 'cause you a high-toned public Negro?
Is you their black-haired answer-mammy who be smart?
Does they like how you shine their shoes, Condoleezza?
Or the way you wash and park the whitey's cars.
Georgie junior says he trusts you, Condoleezza. Who said our off the greedy oil woes. But then he make you clean all the White House bathrooms. The public sink, the toilet and let's scrub the floors.
When someone called in to complain about the song his reply was "She's the house Negro. It's a fact, it's my opinion. Am I entitled to my opinion?"
I will give the guy kudos for using the words "fact" and "opinion" interchangeably though.
"He ran a gas station down in St. Louis." Referring to Gandhi -- Hillary Clinton

I grew up in a five-room apartment. My father had a little laundromat in a black community not far from where we lived. I saw it all growing up. -- Rod Blagojevich
"You think the Republican National Committee could get this many people of color in a single room? Only if they had the hotel staff in here." -- Howard Dean
"We as black people, it's time, it's time for us to come together. It's time for us to rebuild a New Orleans, the one that should be a chocolate New Orleans. And I don't care what people are saying Uptown or wherever they are. This city will be chocolate at the end of the day." -- Ray Nagin
Well I'm convinced, the entire Democratic party is comprised of racists.
I'm now Senator Alan Grayson guys. My point, which you missed, was that a bunch of quotes suggesting certain Democrats are racist doesn't actually say a damn thing about whether anybody in the Tea Party is or isn't.

I'm sorry that you missed the discussion. My only point, which you're nowhere near refuting, was that posting a bunch of quotes from Democrats really has nothing to do with whether the Tea Party is racist or not. If you'd care to actually discuss that I'd love to.
For my own part the only very definite racist stuff I've seen from the Tea Party is the stuff Mark Williams sent out and they manned/womanned up and kicked his ass out.
EDIT:
This is pretty suspect though.

I love it how you think anybody's ranting or that PB thinks somebody's defending Grayson (I think it served its purpose, which was likely fundraising/drawing attention). Keep on posting quotes from Democrats to suggest that Republicans aren't racist though, certainly.
Oh so a few random quotes don't prove an entire party is racist? Especially when those few random quotes just happen to come from the person trying to claim that the entire party is racist, as in Grayson's case?
I guess I did prove that the Tea Party as a whole isn't racist.
Instead of pretending you got one, how about using something specific like "I know our anti immigration platform may put people off and occasionally draw racists but we kicked out that one really racist leader of our biggest organization." It's a lot less dumb than lists written by other people. You could even make it a bit edgier by asking why the Democrats never did anything about Robert Byrd.

Is this guy for real?
Especially considering this:
Quote:
Joe Biden Called A Second Wrong Number Searching For Boston Mayor-Elect Marty Walsh
WASHINGTON -- If your phone number has a 617 area code, check your messages -- there's a chance you got a call from Joe Biden Tuesday night.
That's because the vice president was having all sorts of trouble reaching Marty Walsh, whom he wanted to congratulate on being elected mayor of Boston.
On Wednesday, The Boston Globe reported that Biden called the cell phone of a man named Marty Walsh and offered him hearty congratulations on winning the election. "You son of a gun, Marty. You did it!"
It was the wrong Marty Walsh.
Now, a HuffPost reader named Toni has come forward to say that she too got a call from Biden Tuesday night, congratulating her on becoming mayor.
The call came in a little past 10:00 p.m. She let it go to voicemail, thinking it was odd that an unknown caller from Washington, D.C., was calling at that hour. Shortly thereafter, she listened to the message:
Mr. Mayor, congratulations. Marty, this is Joe Biden. Nice to see you win and nice to see Labor win. Anything I can do to help you from the White House in terms of your needs in Boston, holler man. Congratulations. Enjoy the night.
The whole thing was bizarre, Toni admitted. HuffPost withheld her surname at her request, but it isn't even close to Walsh. And she doesn't live in Boston anymore.
She does, however, still have a phone number with a 617 area code. And her outgoing voicemail is generic -- it's just an automated recording saying her number couldn't be reached.
Toni said she was pretty sure the call wasn't a prank because a similar thing had happened to her just days before. On Saturday, another man left a voicemail on Toni's phone looking for Marty Walsh. She called him back and confirmed that there was confusion over what the mayoral candidate's phone number actually was. Biden, in short, wasn't the only one looking for the right digits.
And so, Toni now has a congratulatory message from the vice president of the United States saved, likely permanently, in her inbox. You can hear a recording of the message above.
The vice president's office doesn't dispute that Biden's voice can be heard on the recording. A spokesperson pointed to the following tweet sent Thursday from the VP's official account:
While Bill Clinton was in office, I called him a habitual liar who used the truth only when it suited his purposes.
But Obama makes me wish for the good ol days of Bill Clinton. Yes Clinton lied a lot (and I don't mean just about his sex life), and yes he made some bad decisions, but he was a much better President than Obama has turned out to be.
I would argue that even Carter was a better President than Obama, and this is coming from someone who as a teenager was parking the family car outside gas stations at 11:00pm so we could get gas early the next morning.
'I just wanted to take a few minutes to speak to everybody because you guys are the ones who are in the trenches, day-in, day-out,' Obama said, complaining of 'misinformation' that has circulated about his health insurance overhaul law.
But 'problems with the website ... have created and fed a lot of this misinformation,' he admitted.
Boasting of his administration's skill in encouraging taxpayers to buy health insurance policies through public marketplaces, he claimed that 'in the first month alone, we've seen more than 100 million Americans already successfully enroll in the new insurance plans.' - Barack Obama

My uncle leans so far left he would argue with you for hours that the sky is really neon green if a Democrat said so. So I told him about my experiences with the healthcare website and how the cheapest plan for me was a little over 200 dollars a month. He told me I must have "done it wrong" (like I can't enter my age and location properly) because the there are plans on the website as low as 53 dollars a month.
How the hell would this thing be paid for if people could get plans for 53 dollars a month? I had to resist the urge to slap my forehead.
It's 100% to 400% of the federal poverty level.
http://www.familiesusa.org/resources...uidelines.html
Ok I'll bite, why with those numbers you're posting does my brother not qualify for any assistance? Obviously that's rhetorical because you don't have the data but I do and he easily falls into that giant range of 100-400% based on his household income and number of dependents.
It doesn't make sense at all based on what you're saying when compared to first hand exposure and experience.

Found this and thought I would share. Some of the reactions are pretty funny.

Reason why 1 liberal gave for the "knock out game" that is being played:
“Many African American/Caribbean residents expressed a genuine concern that as the Jewish community continues to grow, they would be pushed out by their Jewish landlords or by Jewish families looking to purchase homes,”
”I respect and appreciate the Jewish community’s family values and unity that has led to strong political, economic and cultural gains… While I personally regard this level of tenacity, I also recognize that for others, the accomplishments of the Jewish community triggers feelings of resentment, and a sense that Jewish success is not also their success.”

“Al Gore accepted the fact, even though he won by 600,000 votes, that W. was president. And the Democrats accepted the legitimacy of George W. Bush 100 percent,” -Chris Matthews
He's quickly becoming the Joe Biden of MSNBC.
That did look fishy to me too so I looked it up. Here's the popular vote numbers from http://www.fec.gov/pubrec/fe2000/prespop.htm
Al Gore (Democrat) 50,999,897 48.38%
George W. Bush (Republican) 50,456,002 47.87%
Difference = 543,895
Not quite 600k but close. Gore did back off his challenges pretty quickly too. Otherwise that could have drug on for a while.
I don't know what else he could have done. At the time there was a real fear that he and W would keep fighting this thing out with legal challenge after challenge. How that would transpire is beyond me and my non-existent J.D. I do know that the law is never clear cut if you have the money and motivation to keep fighting.
I think they actually cited that in their Opinion. Rehnquist wrote something about Al's overall doucheyness as making him unfit to be President. HAHA He did make bank on Current TV though.
The best thing about Gore was the picture of him getting hammered after he lost the election.

“The basic concept is simple,” she said. “Every non-incarcerated adult citizen gets a monthly check from the government. Other safety net programs are jettisoned to pay for the mincome, and poverty is eliminated.” -Krystal Ball MSNBC host.
Her parents need to be kicked in the face for naming their kid that.
That would have to be a pretty huge check for it to eliminate poverty despite no other social welfare programs being in place. And if the check is that big... why would I work? I realize I'm reading too much into this but I hope that's a quote from an April Fools segment or something.
