Yes. He can be charged for illegally possessing a firearm and found guilty on that, which is a class A Misdemeanor. That is why it is a completely different charge. It isn't like "Oh, you had this firearm illegally, so you are also a murderer now for using it to defend yourself."Quote:

Oh yeah the "lone survivor" as the media is referring to him as has also admitted that he is affiliated with and has spoken at rallies for a far left revolutionary group and made statements such as "Long Live the Revolution!" while at these rallies, but at the same time he wants you to believe he was only at this "peaceful protest" while carrying a loaded gun (that he was illegally carrying) to administer first aid to those in need and that even though he pulled a gun out and pointed it at Rittenhouse he had no intention of shooting Rittenhouse.
Holy shit. I'm not entirely sure the prosecution's "star witness" was really a witness for the prosecution at all. So the "lone survivor", who the prosecution spent several minutes building him up as a great person because he has some EMT or medical training, admitted that based on his medical experience one of the people Rittenhouse shot put Rittenhouse in "physical danger" before Rittenhouse shot him (this was the dude who tried to stomp on Rittenhouse's head). He also said the other person Rittenhouse shot, the one who hit him over the head with his skateboard, said the guy put Rittenhouse at risk of "head trauma."
Okay so one guy who was shot put him in "physical danger", the other guy put him at risk for "head trauma", and the third guy, the one admitting to all of this, admits he followed Rittenhouse with a loaded weapon, pulled out his weapon and pointed it Rittenhouse and only then did Rittenhouse shoot him.
Seriously what the fuck are we even doing anymore? The judge should just throw this case out of court and humiliate the prosecution as he does so.
