Vaccine + mask = the heck is wrong with you?

The people who can't get the vaccine should be staying home until they can. Why should everyone else, especially vaccinated people, still live under these restrictions for a relatively small percentage of the population? People undergoing chemotherapy are always told to be careful because even the most mild of infections can cause them serious harm, we don't shut down the entire world for people undergoing chemotherapy, this is no different.

And if people refuse to get the vaccine so what? If YOU are vaccinated then you are protected, whether people get vaccinated or not, and we reach herd immunity once 70% of the population is vaccinated so it will matter even less if people don't get vaccinated.

I don't know if you've been paying attention but that's essentially what we did the past year, yes.

Many businesses still can't operate, or operate at full capacity, because they people are demanding social distancing, which not only isn't necessary anymore but there have been studies done showing social distancing does almost nothing in preventing the spread of viruses such as COVID, ESPECIALLY in an outdoor setting. I'm not even a scientist and I could have told these "experts" that physical distancing outside is next to useless.

While I'll agree social distancing doesn't do much of anything, I think masks still serve a purpose. There are still a bunch of people dying from covid everyday. So, I don't really care if places require masks for a while longer. It's hardly an inconvenience and I'm fine to do this super minor thing if it saves a life somewhere.

What does it matter if people choose not to get the vaccine though? Between the people who have already gotten it, the people who had Covid and the people who were exposed to covid and their bodies already have the antibodies.. we're past that 70% imaginary threshold now anyway.

If you want to be protected.. get vaccinated if you haven't had Covid yet. Wear your mask because it makes you feel secure.

Worry about yourself. Stop worrying about what other people are doing.

There are people that legit can't take the vaccine for medical reasons, so everyone that can take it should imho. There was a measles outbreak not long ago because of anti-vaxxers, a illness that was thought to have been defeated until these dbags reared their heads.

If there are people out there that can't get the vaccine due to medical reasons, they should remain at home, especially if they are in the high risk category.

We shouldn't keep mandates out there for everyone to wear a mask because of a few individuals. Everyone needs to be responsible for themselves.
