My brother lives in WI. During the TP shortages from the forced lockdowns due to fucking retarded people he even said that even with having Green Bay as the "toilet paper capitol of the world" in his state, they couldn't even get toilet paper.

People are fucking stupid. I remember I had just been grocery shopping the day before the forced locked downs were announced. I spent about $250 on groceries like I do about every two weeks - would be enough to last us a couple weeks. But knowing how stupid people are I went out that day the lockdown announcement was made and dropped another $250 on groceries. I knew people would be panic buying because they're ignorant. Thankfully I went because the next time I stepped into the grocery store half the shelves were bear or close to. Stupid ass people.

It would be awesome if these companies or people that post this shit can be cited for some kind of fear mongering.

I had 2 sisters.

I had a wife and two daughters.

There isn't a time in my life where there wasn't an extra case of toilet paper somewhere in my house.

In this house right now, I have 48+ rolls in cabinets, drawers and garage storage.

What crisis are we talking about that will cause a run on goods? The tariffs?

I’ve got a vaulted room full of guns, 30k+ rounds of ammo, body armor, optics, comms, water, rice bags & MREs, toiletries, camp gear, medical supplies, and a bunch of other stuff for survival & arming my private neighborhood army.

I stopped the whole prepping game about a year or two ago. It becomes a sickness. At some point you have to say enough is enough.

I'm with you, I have lots of things I'll never need. But... you should add sugar (never expires if stored properly), lard, bleach (for when the bodies hit the floor or you need to kill germs), I have lye and soda ash, enough 25 year shelf life food for my wife and I for 6 months, 9 if we stretch things. Water filters galore...

I have paper maps, know where I'd go and how I'd get there and the means to do so. Never hurts to be prepared. I don't can though, I should.

But it's a money sink and I stopped myself a year ago.
