Democrats will still want to call more witnesses because this isn’t about justice at all, it’s a political hit job aimed at hurting Trump and Senate Republicans during an election year.

Democrats know they ain’t gonna get the numbers to remove Trump based on these bullshit charges, they just want to smear Trump and Senate Republicans by either accusing them of covering up Trump’s “crimes” or accusing them of being cowards for not voting to remove Trump.

And the thing is NO Republican will be safe from their vileness. Even if a Republican votes to give Democrats their witnesses and votes to remove Trump the Democrats will still accuse them of being traitors for not “having the courage” to convince their Republican colleagues to vote to remove.

And why not? The Democrats keep getting away with this shit and the Republicans keep falling for it over and over again.
