You actually "lob" them. I remember when they showed me that silly pose. We all laughed. Throwing grenades was a lot more fun in the fleet though.

I got a white X because I threw shot in high school, so I did what he told me. Shot put is more like pushing than a throw or lob. :(

The pose looks more like dabbing to me, so I'm not sure that's better.
