And ... Nilandia for the Veils of the Mist event.

You see Nilandia Liserna the Historian.
She appears to be a Sylvankind of the Lassaran D'ahranal.
She appears to be youthful and tall. She has softly sparkling, gold-flecked forest green eyes and smooth, creamy white skin. She has long, golden-highlighted, sunset red hair that frames her lithe figure in gentle waves. She has a gentle and delicate face, a slender nose and slightly upswept ears that taper into fine points. She has slender hands with long, soft fingers and gently curving rose-red lips.
She is in good shape.
She is wearing some citrine leaf-shaped hairjewels, a transparent silk gauze overrobe, a copper and golden silk bliaut, a gold filigree bracelet split into three curving tendrils, and some copper satin slippers.

Overrobe: Delicately shimmering silk strands have been woven loosely into the fine, nearly transparent gauze which comprises this light and airy garment. The fluidity of the fabric allows the robe to mold the wearer's silhouette, and when the material is in motion, it creates an illusion akin to the appearance of softly falling rain.

Bliaut: Finely pleated copper silk of a faintly iridescent sheen makes up most of this bliaut. Golden silk edges the neckline before descending down the front and winding about the garment's waist, smoothing the silhouette. Shimmering, couched gold leaves swirl over the garment as if caught on a breeze, collecting at the hem of the skirt and bell sleeves.

She has a pair of black butterflies inked on her collarbone.
She is in good shape.
She is wearing a flawless pure white moonflower tucked behind one ear, a three-tiered silvery stone choker, a tailored raw silk cloak, a high-collared jade green silk bliaut with an ivory chainsil underskirt, a silvery mithril ring, and some pale jade criss-cross tie sandals.

She is wearing a pale lavender blue winter rose tucked behind one ear, an antique silver case, a membranous silvery violet robe, a dark violet silk gown layered over pale purple underskirts, a gleaming blue peridot signet-ring, and a pair of delicately-pointed glossy white kidskin poulaines.

Is there like some unspoken competition going on to see how many outfits everyone can post in one week?

Nah, I think a lot of people just have a lot of outfits. ^_^ I like it!

Nah, I just like showing people what I come up with and throwing it out for commentary. I don't put all my outfits up, though. Just the ones I'm more happy with.

I'm going to contribute to the overkill! This isn't Lysistrata... it's my "break" character. In lieu of taking a break from GS (can't.. addicted, damnit, and I have responsibilities) I'm playing a completely new character.

I guess I'm in the minority, because it didn't seem to me like an overkill by any means. I've posted a few more outfits recently than I normally do, but I normally post my outfit for an event or meeting, and then sometimes just some random outfit that I truly like that Jo's wearing.
