If you know something is a hoax and you plan to call it out for being a hoax, why lie about it?

Some of it is about what’s he’s done in office(policy etc), some of it is not.
Pretty much that everyday he’s engulfed in scandal, he salutes the North Korean military(I’m half South Korean), diverts funds from key sectors to build a wall, that is in my opinion utterly useless. The claims he has made, such as if I’m president, I would never do this etc. (Golfing for example) (quite a lot of Russian media really laughs at him about this “president of golfing, I mean America is busy at work on the courses again”) and wasting my tax dollars on this, especially after he touted he’d have no time for golfing.
His tax cuts hit me quite hard. His roll back of LGBTQ in the military. His inability to work with Democrats(granted this is both their fault) but I put more the blame on him, as he has touted non stop that he’s the master of the deal, and can make deals no one else can. His rollbacks of everything to help improve our environment I.e deregulating the coal industry, rolling back the clean water rule etc. his stripping of the ACA with nothing to replace it with, and failure to get a republican controlled congress to get any major legislations passed (other than the tax cuts)
The Republican Party so i thought was all about the fiscal policy of reducing our national debt, it’s ballooned even worse than when Obama was in office(I could be wrong on this, please correct me if I am) (I also know having a debt isn’t as dire as everyone thinks it is(working in a bank I see the major positives of America(for America) being in debt)
and because he sounds like he has no idea how anything works, really makes wonder if he has any clue what he’s doing. Ie. the visa lottery, he thought they placed names in a ball and just randomly picked someone.
There’s also quite a few things he has done, that I approve of. But based on what I know, I don’t believe these are his ideas or his doing.
Feel free to correct any inaccuracies I’ve made.
This is just my personal view(and I don’t follow it very closely as I probably should be)
It’s not that I know absolutely nothing, I just don’t know much about what he’s done in detail, just done a little research on the a few things that I feel strongly about. Environment, taxes, LGBTQ etc
I don’t read much US news as I would like, most of my news comes from Russia, China, Hong Kong and a few other SEA/Eastern European countries
That's a lot to unpack.
But basically what you said is "I believe all the negative news about him, and all the good news I do not attribute to him."
You have many inaccuracies, but it's not worth getting into it. They can all be googled. The national debt is not worse than Obama, but it's on track to be. Your taxes going up, well I'd assume you are more well off than most the nation, because his tax act did exactly what it said it would, lower taxes on low/mid income families. Mine went up also.
The rest sound like personality things you don't like. Saluting a foreign nation flag? Golfing? Can't cross the aisle?
When you spend years complaining about the president golfing too much, then boast you'll be too busy working to golf.
Then you get elected and spend even more time golfing. That's not a personality problem. It's a credibility thing.
Add in thousands of lies, and yah. That's a job performance issue
Ahh didn’t mean to come off that way, probably poorly worded myself. I meant it towards policies he’s inacted.
I don’t believe all the negative stuff said about him, far from it. If I did I would be on the trump hate train. Like I said there are also quite a few things that he has done that I approve of, methais just asked what I disliked about him :)
My taxes didn’t get lowered, they sky rocketed even after I get a portion of my salary exempt from taxes due to living abroad.
I also mentioned that I could be wrong on a few things as I haven’t gone into much detail about it
And yup, I mentioned it at the beginning that it’s both personal and policy.
And also, quite a lot of articles I read say quite good things about Trump.
I don’t really follow opinion based articles, I don’t need people to think for me, or explain To me news, with news.
So I take the negative and positive shit said about trump and don’t even bother with it
For example I used to read yahoo news(laugh at me I deserve it) but I stopped when they started to relate anything bad that happened and connect it to trump. I just read headline that some former republican is going to jail, and the article started off with “the first person to endorse trump goes to jail”
I just don’t even read it, I don’t give a fuck that he’s connected to trump and what he did has nothing to do with trump, so why link them together?
