I look at it like this. Whether you or I understood directly what he said, whether he said what he intended to say or was just poorly timed in sharing a stream of consciousness, whether the Whitehouse caught it and issued its correction in time or whether the media spun it, it was just a stupid-ass thing to say. I helped put this guy in office, and these unfocused free-wheeling thoughts spoken before considering are just flat embarrassing. Protect what you want to - but this silly shit just needs to stop.
