Did a GOA with Roblar for his silvers and transaction was very smooth and prompt
It sounds like the guy made a buyout offer, which was accepted, then got impatient and reduced his offer because he didn't want to wait... Making it no longer valid?
From both buyer and seller it states that they both agreed to the buyout. The seller asked if they could deliver the next day and the buyer was fine with that. The seller stated they even updated the thread to sold after they both agreed on the buyout. During the time it took for the seller to deliver they received a higher offer and then took that and pulled out of the originally buyout they already accepted the previous day. That's the summary for the post that matter out of both stories from both parties. Everything else is irrelevant since they didn't commit up until the last dealings.
Quick, easy sale with Berubeo21, would do business again =)
That would of been ok and it's your right as a seller to do that. But the seller didn't do that. He accepted And agreed on a delivery the next day for the buyout. So that other info seems irrelevant unless the seller refused to sell or accept a buyout and said buyer came on here to complain about that situation. But it's not that situation. The buyer just presented all that info but the seller came on here with childish responses to justify his dishonorable merchanting (in this particular transaction) to make matters worse in their case.
Essentially people can do what they want and make their own decisions. But there is a feedback thread here for a reason. If you handle situations like this people are either going to post here or not. The thread is here for a reason. We have a very small community here so it would be best to be civil with each other. It's ultimately better for everyone at the end of the day.
That was my concern as well, but the seller had ample opportunity to bring up that point as reason for breaking off the deal. They did not. I trust everyone at their word that the deal was broken because the seller found a higher offer after accepting the original one, and more specifically "my auction my rules".
