The below is from an article about gifts received by Biden administration officials. Why would the CIA destroy luxury watches received as gifts? It seems like they could at least donate them to charity. The only reason I can think of is that they fear some spy mechanism is hidden in the watch, and it would be difficult or impossible to find.
