To give some comfort, I was bald as a doornail until I was about 3 years old, then I grew shit tons of hair. To date, I have stupidly thick hair that nets me extra charges at the salon. So yeah, your bald girl could end up with hair that's ridiculously abundant (or luxuriant if you want her to do well on her SAT, not that college will matter then).
