More deflection. More bullshit. More blah blah blah. With a little bit of ad hominem thrown in. If I'm wrong, Support your idea. Reference research. Put up some data.

Either you aren't understanding what I'm saying or I'm not explaining it properly. I was speaking about the media, not the entire internet. Everything I've seen has been in response to his comments, not about him being a survivor. I'm not making the everyone does it argument in regards to the media. I'm saying that everyone else on the internet can be assholes and you are holding the right to the lowest common denominator but holding the left to only the highest denominator.Quote:
In my life, what I saw, was adults spreading the anti-bullying message (with a video of a black kid beating up a white kid of course) while simultaneously spreading funny memes about his "guns", lesbian skinheads, tide pod eaters blah blah blah. In fact, I've not seen hardly any legitimate responses to points he's made. They're trying to discredit him through all those fallacies that we see here so much.
And now you're just being argumentative.
Gel: I heard he wasn't at school
Me: Responds about that telling gel about the conspiracy theory bullshit (simultaneously Gel confirms that he was at school but is still being manipulated by the "media")
Gel: You're a bot
Me: You're deflecting
Gel: You're brainwashed
Me: Ad hominem and deflecting
Gel: Tell me exactly what I'm deflecting
I'm not holding the left to anything denominator. They are not relevant to this conversation since we're discussing the right wing reaction to the Parkland kids. We can have that conversation if you want, but I'm saying that the fake news is a specific right wing problem.
I think most of the responses have been about his stances on gun control. Sure some super far right wing places have said some mean things about him. He thrust himself into the spotlight after a tragic event and people are acting like anything he says can't be criticized because he was there for the shooting. I disagree. I've said I don't think he really cares about school shootings and that he just cares about guns. I arrived at this conclusion by his response to the clear backpacks.
Sure it's open season to criticize his positions. By super right wing we're talking about Fox and fox "news" employees. It's not just crazy Alex Jones stuff. Even elected officials comparing them to Nazis, calling them lesbians. It's a multi pronged attack from the right. They are throwing everything but the kitchen sink at these kids. Soros, "evil media", crisis actors...it's no holds barred anything goes.
