Things that made you Facepalm today (Political Version)

When you say food waste in reference to a restaurant, are we talking about food that's coming in to dish pit to be chucked or are we talking about prep work waste?

No.

I'm talking about food that they can't use the next day that hasn't been served to anyone.

This is far less about people being uncaring and more about employees looking out for the business.

Yeah we used to donate food from the grocery store back in the day, but that ended because the shelter wouldn't accept it unless the sell by date was still good. It's a sell by date, not consume by date. .

So uh, apparently Trump was serious about buying Greenland and since the PM of Denmark said Greenland isn't for sale Trump was so disappointed that he has decided to postpone the upcoming meeting with the PM of Denmark.

Did Trump really think Denmark was just gonna sell Greenland to us? How much would that even cost? I think this should have been one of those times where Trump just lets it fade from the headlines and everyone was left wondering whether or not he was serious.

There needs to be a way that restaurants can give away food that would otherwise be thrown away without having them worry about the liability of someone getting sick.

I said most companies do not want to take the risk of giving away food that they made that is out of their control and could become contaminated.. and somehow they would be responsible for any people that got sick from it.

The liability of a lawsuit is why most food establishments will not give their food away and instead dispose of it.
