I always wondered why my best friend and her boyfriend didn't seem like they understood my Rick & Morty references or maybe I was reading their responses wrong. The other day I said when we go on Holiday I can bring my collection for us to binge if it rains and she goes ''Oh (significant other) won't watch it, he says it's too meta and doesn't want to watch it just because everyone says it's good. So she won't either.
