Why yes, if we leave NATO we no longer fund their defense, hence we don't spend billions of dollars a year. It's simple math really.

So let's take for instance Russia invaded Germany. Would we only use the amount of force = to what we budget to NATO or would we use all of our might defending Germany?
This is why NATO"s own pie chart says 600 billion, it's not my pie chart.
If EU countries want to do business with the enemy then they don't need us to defend them.
We'd not use all our might to defend Germany. We'll still maintain readiness to defend the USA, the Pacific and our other global interests.
And if we're not in NATO we'll just let Russia invade Germany? Hell, let 'em have the whole continent. Is that in our interests?
So we would say "OK, Germany you get 2 Bombers to defend yourself against the Russian invasion. Actually we will knock off the cost of the fuel since you have been buying it from the people who just invaded you." ?
P.S. Thanks Germany, we wouldn't be having to worry about this had you not tried invading and killing everyone that borders your country in the past 100 years. XOXOXO
If Russia invades Germany then nukes are going off and we're all fucked.
Glad to see Les Wexner take a stand. I didn't even realize he was political but he's disgusted by trump and was inspired by Obama's speech in Ohio this past week.
Quote:
The wealthiest supporter of the GOP in Ohio said Thursday that he is no longer a member of the Republican Party.
“I just decided I’m no longer a Republican,” L Brands CEO Leslie Wexner said during a panel discussion at a leadership summit, according to The Columbus Dispatch.
Wexner, who said he’s been a Republican since college, added that he is now an independent, before saying that he “won’t support this nonsense in the Republican Party” anymore.
