Meant to be worn on opposite hands the convoluted bands of metal seem to have been dyed a peculiar calignous hue. The malignation is deepest around a flawed black opal formed into an eyeless skull, and the second band sports a darkened heliodor could only have been the result of the continued exposure to hundreds, if not thousands of sorcerous incantations. A bluish colored inscription runs along the first band while a reddish has been incised into the second.

Yanno...often times GMs will allow you to submit design ideas via email without it having to be a contest.
I got lucky by one complaining to me that they still had to make designs for Lumnea and I told them if they gave me a day I could crank some out.
Hence where those helix beads come from. ;) That was my design, ontop of all the overgowns and the majority of the jewelry from the same shop the beads were in.

The stitching running up one leg is deep crimson, and the other mismatched leg sports thread that is faded silver. A few places have become slightly more worn out than others, mostly along the front of the thighs and the area where one would sit. Numerous tiny slashes and spots of dried blood mar the entire surface of this garment. The bottom of each pant leg ends in a wide boot cut with a tattered fringe.

Crudely forged from bluish-black mithglin, the chausses come to dull points at each pieces' tip. A matching floating poleyn provides protection for the knees of the wearer. Running the length of the chausses' shin plates are sharpened mithril flanges.

These sturdy boots are well used, scuffed and splattered with the detritus of years of battle. They look like they're broken in and very comfortable. You also notice a small enchanter's glyph.

I do but not openly, Brielus travels to the temple of mularos at least every other night if not every night for rituals and has conducted Torture/prayers/divination a couple times. The followers of mularos are often very cultish and secretive, or mostly practice alone. Or at least the ones that try and stick to the idea do.
I'd store the FWI transporter and gold ring when not in use.

I like the simplicity but I dislike the lack of colors in the taps and, in one case, the show as well. There's also a lack of material specified in some places but I can go either way on that usually, because not everyone can tell at a glance if something is faille or raw silk. But color.. Everyone (barring specific color blindness or blindness in general) can tell what color something is. Or even if it's just dark or pale. And it's not as though there isn't room in the taps to place a color.

So, Nuadjha's now fully trained in both OHE/Shield and Ranged, and he's using a 5x black ora handaxe (Tsanah's version) and the Ranger Pavis (self-mana e-wave) when he's not using his bow. With the ShadowDeath vambraces, it looks ... rather cool.
I'm extending his RP with the vambraces to the black ora axe, portraying him as a Phoenite desperately attempting to control shadow magic and turn it to a better end. Success still to be determined! (He did go crazy in Ta'Illy the other night, but seems okay now.)

This half-mask combines elegant lines and macabre form in a striking composition. Bands of glaes mimic the curve of cheekbones, swept back to the hairline, where the glaes splits. One section bows high over the brow, and the other is made to slide into the hair to hold the piece in place. An elongated diamond of glaes creates the nosepiece, spiking over the forehead and bisecting the lips. Dozens of delicate silver chains cascade in a curtain from the cheek-bands, concealing the lower face from view.

Contained within a miniature cage wrought of a tiny webwork of carved onyx, a star-like fusion of pearlescent vaalin winds its way around a carefully carved diamond core ending in eight delicate points.
Corset: Reminiscent of snakeskin, the corset carries a faint oily shimmer. Constructed on a buttery soft white suede base, the entirety of this garment has been covered with a layer of fine iridescent white vaalin scales. Thin enough to flex under slight pressure, it is pliable enough to allow a wearer to move with ease. Carefully concealed underneath the scales, tiny matching vaalin grommets allow the corset to be conspicuously laced from the back with white suede cords.

It's such an awesome corset that it inspired two others, I think. I made a faenor one that was more reptilian, with tiny beads instead of scales, and Michiko made another ophidian one.

tunic: Natural, unbleached linen has been crafted into this simple and utilitarian, yet infinitely comfortable garment. Brown cords dangle from several bronze eyelets at the top of the chest and loose-fitting sleeves drape to the middle of the forearm. The hem falls to the knees and the sides are slit up to the hips and reinforced at the top with a cross-stitch of the same brown cording.
trousers: Crafted from soft, deeply tanned buckskin and tailored to fit the wearer, these robust trousers are suitable for both the finest occasions and outdoor excursions. Pliable sinew cords are laced along the seams in a crossed design, while a row of three bronze toggles secures the trousers on the left hip. The legs are cut in a slight flare at the cuff, fitting comfortably over boots.

An abundance of frosted, opalescent, and clear glass shards have been blown together to create this piece. Layered to create a thick and sturdy band, the cuff fits securely around the wearer's wrist, making removal quite difficult. Seamless and completely flawless, the material has been polished to create a smooth finish. Etched underneath the wrist-cuff is a thorny rose in full bloom.
Only thing altered is the wrist-cuff, her new collar. Rest is from playershops.

Bag:A bright arc of flowering jasmine surrounds the mouth of this small bag, which has been dyed the color of newly-turned earth. The silver bramble patterning echoes itself in pirouettes and spirals over the surface of the bag, artfully imitating the natural curves of a living vine.
Sandals:The sandals are raised on small, triangular black moonstone heels which support slim, glossy copper soles. They hold the foot in place with four inch-wide horizontal jet suede straps connected down the center by a single half-inch-wide vertical strap. The vertical strap finishes at a fifth strap which encircles the ankle, and each of the straps are covered with evenly-spaced pointed square copper studs.

Choker:Crafted from dainty silver, veins of blue and green run between the brushed finish of the metal to give it a glimmering bark-like apperance. Ghostly blue moonstone leaves burst from the ends of small curls that fork off of the main piece, each leaf curves to give the piece a more life-like look.
Bracelet:This bracelet is made out of silver, streaked slightly with a light green, resembling the color of a glowbark tree. The branch like ends of this elegant piece of jewelery coils several times around the wearer's wrist. A ghostly blue leaf sits ontop of a thin silver ring, connected to the rest of the bracelet by a gleaming silver-linked chain.

* Longcoat is my armor concealer, it fits over : a set of cross-strapped white leathers with glowbark buckles
quiver : Cut from stiff pieces of ebon-dyed leather, the quiver and sheath have been bound together by thin dark blue doeskin straps fastened with small mithglin buckles. Lining the interior of the sheath is thickly woven wool dyed to match the straps, while supple doeskin of a dark silvery hue pads the inside of the quiver. A wide strap runs from the opening of the quiver to run across the chest and ends at the bottom of the sheath, a flat mithglin buckle resting down near the hip aids in adjusting the length.
longcoat : Tailored from midnight blue and ebon marbrinus, the longcoat falls to rest at the ankles with a long split up the back. Smoky glaes cinches run up the front and at the cuffs, fastening the longcoat securely and ensuring a close fit. Dark incarnadine lining peeks out from the short, stiff collar and turned back cuffs, while a small stitched symbol of a cracked skull sits at the back of the neck below the collar in glossy thread.
shirt : Fashioned from soft black linen, the shirt is made to fit flush to the skin and laced at the neck with thin silk cording. Bracer-like cuffs reach from the wrists to the elbows and are tied with matching cords, the upper part of the sleeves left to blouse out slightly. A twisted mithglin pin inset with a small moonstone sits at the short collar, the blue-veined metal lining the cut stone into the shape of a crescent moon.
kit : Thin, smooth pieces of black mithglin are plated over stiffened darkly finished leather, each piece of the kit connected by waxed bowstring laced through brushed damascene grommets. Clasping the kit on either side are tiny nacre crescent moons, each one clipped carefully to the body. Adorning the lid are small slivers of radiant glowbark that fall into the design of a full grown glowbark tree, silver leaf inlay is placed along the edges to give it depth and more reality.

You don't think it's a big deal and actually neither do I, since I don't even play anymore. I'm not in a rage or crying my eyes out. I am displeased about it, though. It's a principle type thing.
And why is it that when anyone acknowledges displeasure on the internet, they're throwing a fit? I can't see anyone else through the computer and they can't see me. They can't hear the tone of my voice nor I theirs. If I do not say, "I think this is wrong. This makes me unhappy." how will the other person know? Maybe it upsets me more than it would others as an old English major, a field where copying is the ultimate taboo.
Acknowledgment would be nice. Notice would have been good. Permission would have been best. I'm not completely sure why you think that's something wrong, Zuie.

It's just that, what if she REALLY didn't mean to copy the design? Like I said, it's not like its a distinctive image to copy. I agree though, if she did she should throw some acknowledgment towards you, cause nonetheless it's a good design.

Ah, I think I see where we differ. I wouldn't even care if it was just the image. It isn't uncommon at all. It's the words. I've got a love for prose and I worked on mine to find pleasing cadences and evocative imagery for my alters. That's all.
You're right DCSL and I apologise, I should have added that I was inspired by a design I'd seen on these boards. I didn't think to ask for permission because 1. it was a design from a few years back and 2. it was shown by several posters so it wasn't clear as to who the original designer was in the first place.
I will add too, that I've seen some of my designs repeated by others in game and it didn't upset me, it actually made me feel quite proud. Each to their own I guess but I again I'm sorry if you were upset by it.

The smoothly-lacquered lor handle, left uncarved and wholly immaculate, rises up into the mosaic frame of this mirror. Hues of green glass ranging from emerald and peridot to rich pine and balsam, make up the majority of the backdrop, with tones of ivory and white comprising blossomed arrangements of narcissus blooms patterned on the sides and across the back of the mirror. A smooth dark glass face rests in the center, unbroken by any adornment or etchings.

Rogue : A slender human rogue, her long scarlet hair flying out behind her as she leaps out in a powerful ambush against her foe, is inked carefully along his shoulder. The sylvan blade in her hands has been inked in silvery detail and slashes across her foe's neck as her green and blue eyes stare it down with a predatory look. An amazingly realistic backdrop of a snow-covered mountain is inked behind the woman, its towering ice-capped peaks almost engulfing her petite yet athletic form.
Regal : Clothed in an elegant ivory gown, the woman stands in a proud manner with her head raised, bringing attention to a pale wooden choker around her neck. A slender gold chain is attached and draped down her figure to connect to twin pale wood wristlets, and her mismatched blue and green eyes gaze adoringly upward in her pose. Streaks of scarlet and dark ebon ink combine to create the maple hue of her shoulder-length hair, contrasting deeply with the delicate hue of her skin.
Love the regal human tatt... One of the better descriptions of someone else on another I've seen yet.
The women are one in the same, in fact. Stunseed wears them in testiment to her in order to show the change and beauty of her form. Thanks, I came up with the regal tattoo and with Shari's slight assistance, the mental image came true.

She has very long, silky raven-hued hair which tumbles and cascades down her back and framing her face, angled knife-edged fire red bangs cloak her eyes in wispy shadows. She has a delicate face and a stylized flame beauty mark encircling her left eye.

She is wearing some black willow bough chandelier earrings dripping faintly glowing smoky glimaerstone teardrops, a grey silk and lacework longcoat, a pale grey crushed velvet gown fastened down the back with small obsidian buttons, a gold-traced alabaster ring, a silver-edged silken bag, and some heeled gauze-mesh sandals.
Longcoat:This nearly floor-length longcoat sewn from flattering dark grey crepe silk is cut snugly to the hips, and then billows out loosely. The collar is folded down neatly, and the large lapels lay flat against the chest. Several gauzy, cerise-hued lacework scarves are knotted about the hips, with despanal jewels strewn about their trailing lengths. Barely visible on the inside material are a pair of silver hook-and-eye clasps, which when hooked, invisibly assist the scarves in the garment's closure.

He has shoulder length, windswept chestnut hair accented by rich golden undertones. He has a strongly-contoured, aristocratic face and broad shoulders. He has a thin line of faint red scar tissue next to his right eye.
He has a polished black moonstone stud in the upper ridge of his left ear.

He is wearing a leaf-clasped ebony suede mantle, a sideless charcoal grey linen tunic embroidered with a hemline of dark green leaves over some etched smoky vultite armor, a studded pewter bracelet, an emerald-set thick obsidian band, an onyx-veined faenor case slung from a grey leather strap, some ebony-sheened faenor green suede pants clasped with an onyx buckle, and some tooled dark grey leather boots.
Mantle :
Lined with dark green silk to compliment the faenor modwir leaf clasp upon the shoulder, the mantle is comprised of brushed ebony suede that is well-oiled to protect against the elements. A deeply cowled hood provides protection for the wearer against the same, and faenor threading wends its way along the seam from the hood to the floor-length, sweeping hemline. Surprisingly light, the fabric shifts elegantly with each movement to create a billowing effect.
Band :
The rich, black hue of the obsidian overshadows creamy vaalin veins striated throughout the band, lending it a smoky appearance. An overlapping pattern of leaves is engraved into metal and stone, the detailing so intricate that each spine, vein, and stem is clearly discernable. Inset within a small recess, an oval-cut emerald provides a striking splash of color, and the intaglio of a modwir tree is etched deep within the gem, its branches bare, as if the leaves upon the band had tumbled from its limbs.
That band is amazingly beautiful. The design is just.. very visual and very very nice. Love the whole outfit.

She has a dainty, heart-shaped face, a small nose and a pair of gracefully upswept ears that taper to sharply pointed tips. Her slender neck and delicate bone structure enhance her fragile appearance.
She has a fanciful plumed peacock tattoo on her ankle.

She is wearing a circlet of draping silver chains, a pair of half-lensed spectacles set in delicate over-the-ear silver filigree frames, a brushed suede tote fastened with a trio of pewter buckles, a transparent silvery organza overrobe, some layered pewter silk robes bound at the hips with a faenor-threaded cincture, a narrow silver signet ring, and a pair of faenor green suede slippers with gracefully pointed toes.
Circlet: Bisected into two main sections, the circlet is comprised of extremely narrow, delicate silver chains that drape over the head when worn. The middle of three chains is made to drape over the scalp, with the other two cascading on the sides behind the ears. A fourth section of chain drapes from the sides to connect them in the back, while a single short length drapes over the forehead in the middle, suspending a singular loop of metal that cradles a flawless blue sapphire.
I know the sapphire doesn't match with the outfit, but it's a mana enhancer and it's supposed to be the one in her picture (see my sig).

She has a short, untamed forest of tightly curled silver hair with polychromatic tips flaring out around the face. She has an angular face, an upturned nose and sharply-curved pointed ears.
She has a tattooed ring of jagged thorns on her wrist, and a small firestone spike adorned with a tiny spiral of blackened silver filigree in her lip.

She is wearing a draped platinum choker, a mulberry silk cotehardie, and some silk slippers.
So it's the start of something put-together.
(Choker show: Set with a hidden eye and hook closure behind the layered peacock centerpiece of the necklace, a quintet of platinum rope-strands encircle the wearer's neck. Posed in all his regality, the peacock's tailfeathers are open and spanned, displaying all of the tiny blown-glass jewels in various hues of cerulean, royal blue, mauve, canary yellow, and pale green. Each jewel has been bezel-set and twinkles with light refractions of their own.)
(Cotehardie show: Layered petticoats of obsidian voile peek out from under a dark mulberry silk dupioni overskirt. Dual lengths of obsidian-hued ribbon spiral up the back of the wasp-waisted corset, designed to dramatically decrease the waist while still maintaining some element of comfort. Complimenting the various uses of fine materials, delicate panels of mulberry charmeuse silk complete the overlay of the corset. The sleeves are snug to the elbow and then drop to long, straight, graceful points.)

the only thing with a show is the locket. Here is a partial of the show.
This simply constructed locket has apparently seen many years of wear, though it still retains the appearance of being well-cared for. Inside one panel rests a small painting of a fair sylvan woman, and an equally fair child. The picture seems to have been protected by the locket, as it is marred only by a few small circular water stains. Words scribed into the other face of the locket read, ......

She is tall and appears to be very young. She has dark-lined, intense violet-sheened pale grey eyes and darkly tanned honey-hued skin. She has silky soft, bronze-streaked tawny hair falling to the small of her back in loose ringlets. She has sharp pointed ears. A touch of dusky freckles runs across her cheeks.

She is wearing a silk-lined dark sable cape, a fragrant white lily, a back-split indigo overgown patterned with elaborate silver starbursts centered with seed pearls, a sleeveless alabaster-hued blouse, a wispy cobalt and pale azure silk skirt edged in silver, a twining rose vine anklet, and a pair of ivory suede half boots with soft soles.
I was bored. Everything was bought via playershops except the overgown which I had altered. It's one of the worn over ones, but I couldn't find anything I liked to go with it yet.
Alright I curious, I've noticed lately that when looking at characters, Faendryl ones in particular. Faendryl has been showing up as a Third part to their name. How does that work?
