How is Trump going to be reelected in 2020 when OMG MUELLER IS GONNA TAKE HIM DOWNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ??????
Remember this from 3 days ago?

His tweets are crazy as fuck. You can see him changing the channel. Today he's bouncing between Mueller, Farmers and Jobs with no apparent order. The dude's got a fucked up brain and even worse personality. He gives zero shits about farmers, jobs or the country except in how it can make him look good. Even Macron didn't get this until this week and that's totally inexcusable.
A call between President Trump and French President Emmanuel Macron last week that focused on trade and immigration went badly and saw Macron be highly critical of Trump’s policies, two sources familiar with the call told CNN.
"Just bad. It was terrible," one of the sources told CNN. "Macron thought he would be able to speak his mind, based on the relationship. But Trump can't handle being criticized like that."

This was already posted hours ago here. Try to keep up when you're not busy shaving your legs, Latrin. He probably said it because he knew it would cause mass triggering among the cwolffs of the world. Fortunately, the cwolffs of the world are incredibly dumb and predictable.

We are actually witnessing an attempt at turning America into a dictatorship.
Sometimes Tuesday doesn't get here fast enough, so Backlash just mashes Monday and Tuesday together.
Also, can someone tell me when Trump signed this law into effect, since apparently it's brand new and certainly not something that's been in place for probably most/all of the existence of our country?
The sky is blue.
This exchange showcases exactly how shallow your "conservativism" is -- not a single one of your links demonstrates your contention. Having a trade deficit isn't evidence of the other country "taking advantage of" the United States. We benefit in numerous ways from trade deficits.
The fact that you moronically thought you were proving someone wrong is icing on the cake -- you're a gleefully ignorant, deluded tribalist, and nothing more. You don't know how to think beyond what the Cheeto-in-Chief tells you the stance du jour is.

You are, as always, willfully ignorant and easily humiliated. Better luck next time, shit-for-brains.
It's unconstitutional now? You do understand that not all appointments require Senate confirmation, right?
Watching you regurgitate the lies from a man who has done nothing but lie about this investigation is hilarious.
There is nothing unconstitutional about the SC guidelines.
It violates the Appointments Clause of the constitution.
It is inaccurate to classify Mueller as an inferior officer with the broad scope he has. Rosenstein is not supervising his work directly. He is acting as a principle officer, which is to be appointed by POTUS and confirmed in the senate.

Yes of course. This has been obvious since the beginning. When we brought that up to trump supporters they said things like, "If he ever does x then I'll be the first one to denounce him." He's since said X,Y,Z, and the rest of the alphabet (albeit spelled incorrectly) and they simply dial their value system down a notch to match his descent into tyranny. They give 0 fucks about the constitution.
I'm amazed that you guys always fall back on this. Get some new material.
Although I'm not surprised it's astonishing how trumps tweets get picked up and parroted by his trumpanzees. Have you no moral fiber? No ethical backbone? How far is too far for a trump supporter?
Look at the constitutional scholar. Where did you get that talking point? Fox? Infowars? Breitbart? Ask yourself this. Would republicans have purposefully violated the constitution by appointing Mueller? If it's so unconstitutional how'd it get this far? Do you ever consider for a second that it's been done in accordance with our laws and Mueller is doing the job he's hired for?
Think about this for a second. Mueller doesn't leak. He's not out there giving press conferences about what a scumbag trump is yet the right is responding as if he is. There's actually nothing for them to fight against yet. He's not been subpoenaed, he's not been indicted. The people he hires and surrounds himself with have received some convictions and indictments but no one's said shit about trump's guilt but trump and his team.
Aww. You couldn't even muster up one of your pretend responses. Good on you, though, for speeding up your concessions.
This is one of the cringiest things you've ever written. Not only are you beyond moronic for thinking Trump is actually talented at dealmaking, calling yourself a conservative while not understanding that the American economy isn't state-run (nor the limited influence the executive branch can have on it) is especially comical.Quote:

GOP Sen. Chuck Grassley (Iowa) said on Monday that President Trump should get a new lawyer if he's been told that he can pardon himself.
"If I were president of the United States and I had a lawyer that told me I could pardon myself, I think I would hire a new lawyer," Grassley, the chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, told CNN, when asked if Trump had the ability to pardon himself.
https://i.imgur.com/l63Vs1u.jpg
Yeah, actually it doesn't.
First- Nixon tried that exact argument decades ago, and it was flatly rejected by SCOTUS. Secondly, it's considered to be an inherent power of the AG. You don't even need the Special Counsel statute for it to happen- it was put in place to help protect the independence of the Special Counsel.
So let's play this out:
1) First Trump told you that his campaign team never met with Russia- but it turns out they had met with Russia dozens of times
2) Then Trump told you that Russia didn't interfere in our elections- but it turns out that they definitely did, AND he knew about it because both the FBI AND Russia told him about it
3) Then he told you that the Democrats colluded with Russia, but it turns out that there's literally no evidence of that\
4) Then he told you that he fired James Comey because he was mean to Clinton, but it turns out that that wasn't true
5) Then he told you that Obama personally ordered a wiretap of Trump Tower, but it turns out that never happened
6) Then he told you that the entire investigation was started solely on the basis of the dossier, but it turns out that wasn't true
7) Then he told you that the FISA warrant application was intentionally lying about evidence, but it turns out the application was clear about its evidence
8) Then he told you that the Russia investigation is all about Democrats being angry, but it turns out that all Federal investigations into Trump's campaign are being run by Republicans
9) Then he told you that the FBI illegally planted a spy in his campaign, but it turns out that's not at all what happened
10) Then he told you that he didn't ever try to fire Mueller, but it turns out he tried twice
11) And now he tells you that the Special Prosecutor is unconstitutional, and you're just jumping right up to believe him again.
It's really pathetic.
lol, 2 snowflake neg reps from parkbandit in less than 4 days. Triggered much, you giant fucking pussy?
They're freaks. I've got 8 in the past 10 days. I'm going to save them all and see how many I collect then clear it out for New Years.
On a side note: This is proof that libertarian philosophies don't work and that we need government. People do OK as a whole but there's always a few bad apples that ruin everything. In other words, "This is why we can't have nice things"
I've had them ignored for months also. In PB's case, I've had him ignored for years. Still they reach out to make contact on the regular. What I've found, when I read their rep comments, is that they are dying to be heard. Hence the Doyle Hargraves persona one of them was running for a while. They can't stand to be ignored.
Let the record show that I called you out for being a pussy YEARS before these new sheep.

Soooo.... Still no collusion?
Clearly you missed President Trump's tweet today that said it was possible to pardon himself.
IF HE WASN'T GUILTY WHY WOULD HE NEED TO PARDON HIMSELF!?!?
It's really heating up now. This is the first time evidence has been established that proves he's guilty of collusion.
Yes, they're lying. It ain't no riddle.Quote:
Fox News host Shepard Smith slammed President Trump and the White House on Monday for its shifting story on the June 2016 Trump Tower meeting with a Russian lawyer and who wrote a later memo on the encounter, asserting that "somebody is lying to us."
"It's one of those days when you just don't know what to do because we have two things put out as truth, and they're opposites. And as a result of the fact they're opposites, one of them is untrue," Smith said following the White House's daily press briefing.
http://thehill.com/homenews/media/39...mpression=true
This is from Brit Hume. He's another fox news guy.
No way around the fact that Trump team lied when they said POTUS had nothing to do with the statement on the Trump Tower meeting. Now they acknowledge he dictated the statement.
12:25 PM - 4 Jun 2018
In a surprise move on twitter this afternoon, Trump confirmed that he is looking for another job..
Mueller is unchecked. He is acting as a principle officer without the appointment of POTUS or the confirmation of the senate. No collusion has been proven. He has intruded in Trump's personal life and has even destroyed attorney-client privilege. As far as I know, there has never been anything in history of being raided by the federal government over an affair.
You're willing to throw the constitution down the drain because your side didn't win. That's VERY dangerous. You're ideology is dangerous and I'm glad it's finally being challenged.
Good day sir! Ma'am...he-she? Whatever.
Looks like Manafort may have been engaging in some witness tampering:
Trump hires all the best people!Quote:
Special counsel Robert Mueller’s office on Monday accused Paul Manafort, the former Trump campaign chairman, of tampering with witnesses ahead of his upcoming trial on charges involving illegal lobbying work.
In an 18-page motion filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, prosecutor Andrew Weissmann called for an immediate hearing to determine whether Manafort violated his bail terms when he and another, unidentified person repeatedly contacted two other unnamed people “in an effort to secure materially false testimony” concerning the activities at the center of February’s superseding indictment.
All you do is Google crap in an attempt to sound smart. In Morrison v Olson, Chief Justice Rehnquist's opinion for the court set limits. Morrison's office was limited in jurisdiction whereas Mueller's is not.
Mueller is behaving like a principle officer...even going so far as to charge Manafort with crimes unrelated to the specific scope of the appointment. That is WAY too much power for ANY inferior officer to have. He is basically behaving like a U.S. Attorney. He is more powerful than the 93 appointed ones.
Like I said, you turn a blind eye to this because you'll do ANYTHING to discredit or dismantle the President because you lost.
ROFL- okay so first off. He's acting like a DoJ prosecutor. You know why? Because that's literally what he is.
Maybe you should try googling things before you embarrass yourself in these posts. Unlike you, I've spent quite a lot of time reading cases. But you don't need to have taken classes at a law school or to have gone to grad school to do it. It'll work wonders for helping you get a clue.
As for your ridiculous argument: Mueller has limits. And those limits are dictated by the DoJ- which is well within their authority to do.
Secondly, if you ever bothered to actually read beyond headlines you would know that Rosenstein explicitly authorized Mueller to look into Manafort's money laundering- which he did while working to install a Russian-backed President in the United St- erm sorry, the Ukraine. So it was wholly relevant, and this is a typical tactic in investigations to get a witness to talk. And it's not illegal or unconstitutional- the Courts have weighed in on this time and time again.
And third- if you had actually bothered to read Morrison v Olson, you'd realize that it was actually about the Congressional Special Prosecutor statute that expired in 1999. But it DID hinge on one key limitation: that the AG had the authority to fire the Special Prosecutor. Which, by the way, also applies to 28 CFR section 600.
Either way I don't think Judge Amy Berman Jackson is going to have any of this, Manafort is gonna go to prison.
Imminently. He's trying to get his home release vacated- which means he's trying to get him in jail now.
I'm guessing he's suddenly rethinking his stance on fighting this out in Court right about now. There's no way Trump is going to Pardon him for witness tampering.
The news has been speculating all day what it means that trump seemed to dump on Manafort through twitter today. They figured it meant that Manafort was getting ready to flip but they were just guessing. I suppose it's safe to say trump heard about this and was trying to get ahead of the story.
Jesus Christ. Can Rudy be any worse at his job?Quote:
Rudy Giuliani denied Monday that the disclosure by Donald Trump's attorneys that the President dictated a crucial statement on the infamous June 2016 Trump Tower meeting -- a reversal from past denials -- constituted a lie, instead claiming it was a routine mistake.
"It was a mistake," Giulani, a lawyer for Trump in the Russia investigation, said on CNN's "Cuomo Prime Time" Monday. "I swear to God, it was a mistake."
https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/polit...cid=spartandhp
You're completely blinded by your hatred.
Mueller has become a rogue prosecutor with immense power AND who has not received direct supervision from his boss, like you make it out to be. He is not an inferior officer but quite arguably the most powerful attorney in America right now. Since he has not been appointed by the President nor confirmed by the Senate, his powers are unconstitutional.
Mueller's 4 henchmen basically have dual appointments with Special Assistant US Attorney status. They are not confined to the scope of the special counsel and have the ability to go outside any "confines".
Mueller is a roving US Attorney with broad overreach. He is NOT inferior by any means. There is NOTHING limited in scope, jurisdiction or power about this special council at all.
Anything this guy has done since last year is null and void.
Is this the new talking point? Where did you hear all this? It sounds too out there even for Fox. Mueller was instructed specifically to conduct an investigation including any links between Russia and trumps campaign and any matters that arise or may arise from the investigation. What's he supposed to do if he find criminality? Let it go?
In fact, this is the heading of the document that authorizes the Special Counsel:
APPOINTMENT OF SPECIAL COUNSEL TO INVESTIGATE RUSSIAN INTERFERENCE WITH THE 2016 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION AND RELATED MATTERS
I'm going to highlight everything in there that's pure opinion in red, the inaccuracies in yellow, and the facts in blue.
Most of that was just opinion, as you can see in the red. The rest blatantly inaccurate:
1) Rosenstein is his boss, and Rosenstein has had to sign off on every avenue of investigation. The DoJ submitted documentation of this to the Court.
2) There are literally hundreds of appointees in the Federal Government who don't require Senate confirmation. And the DoJ statute on appointing the Special Counsel was written BY the Executive Branch. The Executive Branch has the authority to determine how it does the vast majority most of its hiring. (And I already told you that this was affirmed by SCOTUS in US v Nixon, among other cases)
3) Just because a few of his team members have dual appointments doesn't mean they aren't bound by anything. For Mueller's investigation they still need Mueller's approval. For their other other appointments, they're bound by DoJ guidelines, their US Attorney, Rosenstein, and Sessions. And yes, they need approval to do things.
You actually only had one fact- that some members of his team have dual appointments. But your conclusion about what that means is wildly ignorant of how DoJ process works.
And, by the way, NO Prosecutor or investigator who uncovers evidence of a new crime while looking into an old one is going to ignore the new crime. Their job is to enforce the law. Stop acting like it's wildly inappropriate for them to prosecute crimes. That's literally their job. They have an ethical and statutory duty to report evidence of any crimes they uncover while doing their jobs. Trump and his friends don't get special treatment here.
Kind of. You're getting closer to the truth. He is charged with investigating the Russian connections and anything else that comes up. This will include things like money laundering, influence peddling, backroom deals etc...I suppose it could even extend to Kushners connections attempting to get his building refinanced and Ivankas precious trademarks. Basically, he is not instructed to turn a blind eye to law breaking. He's actually instructed to follow up on that and even bring charges when warranted.
Why is this so hard to understand? It's not changed from the beginning when trump, Gingrich and every other fucking "conservative" was all happy with Muellers appointment.
Whatever trump's doing sure as hell isn't slowing down Mueller. It seems like there is nothing that happens with trumps guys that Mueller doesn't already know about. Not only are people coming out of interviews astonished that Mueller knows everything, but he's still got all their communications. LMAO. What the hell was Manafort thinking? Did he believe that he somehow encrypted his phone sufficiently to defeat the Justice Department of USA?
Perhaps he will send his gumshoes to investigate your crying. With his far overreaching power I'm sure there's a connection there somewhere.
Perhaps he'll find Carmen Sandiego too.

I'm assuming that from here on out the FBI placing spies within all presidential campaigns will be accepted as common place by all parties?
As I have said many times before, the main thing Trump needs to do is stop acting guilty. Out of all the Washington scandals I've seen, I can't remember accused person ever acting as guilty as Trump acts. It's the main reason I think he must be innocent. Nobody who was actually guilty would act this guilty.
Lol @ "so many lives ruined..."
Judge Nap doesn't think too highly of trump's legal beagles. Who knows; maybe they're job is to stir up a hornet's nest while giving Flood room to do his work in peace and quiet.
http://thehill.com/homenews/media/39...iew-of-the-lawQuote:
Judge Andrew Napolitano blasted President Trump's legal team during an appearance on Fox News Monday, arguing it was showing a “sophomoric view of the law" and that it was not serving the president well.
The senior judicial analyst for Fox News called the January memo from Trump’s legal team to special counsel Robert Mueller a "disgrace" and "very harmful" to the president's case.
He also faulted the leaking of the letter, saying he did not understand why the president's team would want it public given it had cited the wrong statute in one case an incorrectly interpreted an opinion in another.
“I don’t know how it got out,” Napolitano said. “I don’t know why the White House would have leaked it, as has been suggested, because it shows a sophomoric view of the law.”
“They are not serving him well when they needlessly show their cards,” Napolitano added during the appearance on “The Story” with Martha MacCallum.
Napolitano faulted the memo for arguing that the president can't be found to have obstructed justice, saying Trump's team forgot that a president can be found to have obstructed justice by ending a prosecution for a "corrupt purpose."
"They forgot that part," Napolitano said.
He also faulted Trump's team for saying that the president can "interfere" with an FBI investigation, saying it had missed an amendment to the relevant statute from 2002 that said the interference "with an FBI investigation intended to produce evidence is obstruction."
Napolitano said it was difficult for him to offer the criticism because he knows the leading members of Trump's legal team, Jay Sekulow and former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani.
But he said they were not serving the president well.
Napolitano said Giuliani’s claim that Trump wouldn’t be indicted if he shot former FBI Director James Comey was “absurd.”
“He could be arrested, charged, indicted, released, tried after he leaves the White House but no way would any law enforcement agency allow a murder or an attempted murder go uncharged because the person behind it was the president and Giuliani knows that,” Napolitano said.
He also suggested that Trump may want Giuliani “causing this chaos” because it dominates the news cycles.
Not only did Trump's junior varsity legal team cite the wrong statute the memo was written with the comic sans font.

Trump Administration Sidelines Effort to Appoint Justice Department No. 3
Early potential candidates said they weren’t interested in the position, which would oversee the Mueller probe if Rod Rosenstein were to depart

The Trump administration has put its search for the Justice Department’s No. 3 official on the back burner after failing to persuade several early candidates to take the challenging position, according to people familiar with the matter.
Surprised he can't fill this slot. Is this a position that has to make it through a nomination process with Congress? If not, it should be simple for him put a lackey in there.

Trump is excellent at disinformation and driving a storyline. David Corn is trying to put a dent into his propaganda machine with this article and I wish him luck. It's an uphill battle when so many of us forget what it means to be an American and instead join the church of trump.Quote:
The other side—the accurate perspective—isn’t that complicated. In 2016, Vladimir Putin’s regime mounted information warfare against the United States, in part to help Trump become president. While this attack was underway, the Trump crew tried to collude covertly with Moscow, sought to set up a secret communications channel with Putin’s office, and repeatedly denied in public that this assault was happening, providing cover to the Russian operation. Trump and his lieutenants aligned themselves with and assisted a foreign adversary, as it was attacking the United States. The evidence is rock-solid: They committed a profound act of betrayal. That is the scandal.
…
An overseas enemy struck at the core of the republic—and it succeeded. Trump and his minions helped and encouraged this attack by engaging in secret contacts with Moscow and publicly insisting no such assault was happening. This is far bigger than a bribe, a break-in, or a blow job. And, worse, the United States remains vulnerable to such a strike.
Yet the full impact of this scandal does not resonate in the daily coverage and discourse. In many ways, the media presents the Russia scandal mostly as a political threat to Trump, not as a serious threat to the nation. And many Americans, thanks to Trump and his allies, view it as a charade. All this shows how easy it is for disinformation and demagoguery to distort reality. That is a tragedy for the United States. For Trump—and Putin—that is victory.
Stop being so triggered. Literally no one here except you cares about rep. Not even cwolff, and he’s a huge pussy. So big of a pussy that when he’s rubbing sunscreen on himself, you put your earplugs in.

There's a genius to his madness. I don't think he has it in him to plot out an extensive long term plan then follow through. I think he's impulsive and a gambler with great instincts for manipulating people to get what he wants in the short term though and he's winning the public side of this thing now, but will lose eventually.

>House Speaker Paul D. Ryan breaks with President Trump, says he sees ‘no evidence’ to claims FBI spied on president’s campaign.
>House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-WI) on Wednesday warned President Donald Trump against pardoning himself, saying that it was obvious that Trump shouldn’t attempt to do so.
“Do you believe that the President has power to pardon himself?” a reporter asked Ryan at his weekly press conference.
“I don’t know the technical answer to that question, but I think, obviously, the answer is he shouldn’t, and no one is above the law,” Ryan responded.
Confirming that there was in fact a confidential informant contacting members of the Trump campaign as it investigated its ties to Russia and then claiming that there is no evidence of spying seems a little intellectually dishonest to me.
A spy is someone you send in preemptively to try to find dirt.
An informant is someone you send in after you've received numerous Intelligence reports indicating the Russians are talking with the Trump campaign.
There's a HUGE difference. Are you honestly telling me that you don't think we should be following up on Intel like that? That's about as serious a threat to national security as it gets.
The only ones who speak sense are quitting. Next years republican congressional crop will be purged of non-trumpanzees. It's horrifying that these politicians only speak out if they're not running for re-election.Quote:
Paul Ryan, Like Trey Gowdy, Says FBI’s Trump Campaign Probe Was Appropriate
House speaker says no evidence backs up the president’s claims of spying

WASHINGTON—House Speaker Paul Ryan (R., Wis.) sided with House Oversight Committee Chairman Trey Gowdy in disputing President Donald Trump’s claims that “spies” infiltrated his 2016 presidential campaign.
Speaking with reporters, Mr. Ryan on Wednesday said he had seen no evidence to contradict the assessment last week from Mr. Gowdy, a South Carolina Republican, that the Federal Bureau of Investigation acted appropriately when it sent an informant to meet with two Trump campaign aides during the run-up to the 2016 election.

They used a confidential human source. He's not confidential any more though. Got outed because of these traitors.
trumps done great signalling to his followers about the message. We see that here with these guys carrying the torch for their boy.
Although I knew it was theoretically possible I never believed it would come to pass that a chunk of our citizens would turn on the USA like this.
Its all out in the open too. Its not hidden. trumps running down anything and anyone that he find uncomfortable to his rule. And these cowardly fucks go right along with it. No questions asked. Get the talking points of Twitter and repeat. Its a damn shame.
God these guys are scum. Giuliani said that Mueller was framing trump. Hell of an accusation to make especially to a foreign audience. It flat makes me disgusted to see this. Women with value? Again they make an opponent out to be some sort of lesser human. And this guy represents the President of the United States. SMH

I really hope Trump does the same thing that Obama did.. exactly the same thing. I can't wait for dumbasses like you to cry holy hell when it's found out Trump put a spy.. oh sorry, an "informant" in the 2020 Democratic nominee's camp... you know, to help and support him.
So this happened . . .

McCabe has requested the Senate Judiciary Committee promise not to use his testimony to prosecute him after he appears before an upcoming congressional panel that will look into how senior officials at the FBI and Justice Department handled the investigation of Hillary Clinton's private email server, according to a letter obtained by CNN.
"Under the terms of such a grant of use immunity, no testimony or other information provided by Mr. McCabe could be used against him in a criminal case," wrote Michael Bromwich, a lawyer for McCabe, to Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley, who has requested McCabe testify next week.
“We hereby request that the Judiciary Committee authorize a grant of use immunity to Mr. McCabe,” to ensure “no testimony or other information provided by Mr. McCabe could be used against him in any criminal case,” Bromwich wrote in his letter.
“If this Committee is unwilling or unable to obtain such an order [of immunity], then Mr. McCabe will have no choice but to invoke his Fifth Amendment privilege against self-incrimination,” Bromwich added.

So, the investigation was on the up and up huh?
These guys are vicious if you don't side with the supreme leader. They seem to be way more afraid of Gowdy.Quote:
“There is no defense today for Paul Ryan siding with the FBI and Department of Justice over against those of us in the Congress who are working for transparency and accountability,” Gaetz said.
Gaetz continued that Ryan’s defenses of the FBI are “deeply frustrating,” referring to the agency as “the Deep State.”
This coming from the same guy that raged over Hillary and her folks destroying their phones.Quote:

Yeah this was actually really on point.
I'm getting so tired of watching a few conservative media machines destroy our country by spilling out endless lies and conspiracy theories just to keep their ratings high. And I don't understand why people keep going back to them even after time and time again they find out the things they were being told were lies. Obama DID have a birth certificate. The ACA did NOT have death panels. Climate Change IS real. Trump DID have extensive relationships with the Russian government and mafia. Obama did NOT wiretap Trump Tower. There was no spy planted in the campaign. There is NO evidence the Democrats colluded with Russia (to lose the election, apparently). Trump's crowd size was NOT larger than Obama's. Trump did NOT fire Comey because he was "too mean to Hillary Clinton".
It's this endless spew of garbage, and it genuinely twists and warps people to the point where they won't trust objective facts anymore. It's like talking to anti-vacc'ers. They've been trained to distrust the medical industry- which is the only industry that can produce the facts and information to disprove their fears of vaccines- so there's no actual way to change their minds. Fox News turns its viewers into the conservative version of that- making conservatives paranoid about all nonpartisan media outlets and even fact checkers (which is INSANE). So there's no way to use facts to change their minds.
Because facts had nothing to do with their beliefs in the first place.
Another one who breaks ranks but only because he's also retiring. The GOP is chock full of cowards and their base is nuts.Quote:
Rep. Tom Rooney (R-Fla.) on Wednesday went after President Trump for his repeated claims that the FBI planted a spy in his campaign, suggesting the president spread the theory despite knowing it was false.
"What is the point of saying that there was a spy in the campaign when there was none?" Rooney told Politico.
"It’s like, ‘Lets create this thing to tweet about knowing that it’s not true,' " he continued. "Maybe it’s just to create more chaos but it doesn’t really help the case."

WASHINGTON
Two supporters of Hillary Clinton’s 2008 presidential campaign reportedly shared the claim that then-rival Barack Obama was not born in the United States and thus was not eligible to be president.
One was a volunteer in Iowa, who was fired, Clinton’s former campaign manager said Friday. The other was Clinton confidant Sidney Blumenthal, according to a former McClatchy Washington Bureau chief.
The issue arose Friday as Donald Trump finally acknowledged that Obama was born in the U.S. Trump, a leading champion of the debunked “birther” conspiracy theory for years, attempted to blame Clinton for starting it when she ran against Obama in 2008 for the Democratic presidential nomination.
"Climate change is real"Quote:
Buried deep within Obamacare is a provision that takes away health care from you and your doctors, by taking away payment for critical health care that may be needed to save your life. It is called The Independent Payment Advisory Board (IPAB).
The board will be independent of you, your doctors, your hospitals, Medicare, Congress, the judiciary, the democratic process, ultimately even the Constitution itself. As the Cato Institute tried to warn us five years ago, IPAB is “independent in the worst sense of the word: independent of Congress, independent of the president, independent of the judiciary, and independent of the will of the people.”
IPAB is to be composed of 15 unelected bureaucrats appointed by the president and confirmed by the Senate. But the board and its powers are so dangerous that even President Obama never made any appointments.
Starting next year, if Medicare spending is projected to grow faster than the rate of economic growth per capita plus 1 percentage point, IPAB is empowered to make a proposal that will cut Medicare spending at least to the targeted growth rate. IPAB will be proposing such Medicare cuts every year starting next year because historically, Medicare spending has grown every year by per capita economic growth plus 2.6 percentage points.
Of course climate change is real, man made climate change is not.
"Russian Collusion"
Trump is still your president.
Oh, look! It's Parkbandit calling someone else "flailing in ignorance" while pretending that Trump didn't go on national television and admit, explicitly, that he fired Comey in order to obstruct the Russia investigation.
Isn't reality just inconvenient, shit-for-brains?
