I love how less than 1 billion dollars is a "great return" for taxpayers, according to these retards when we spend 6 trillion a year. We would only need to flip the SOR 6000 times a year to break even.

Is the SPR full? No? Then there is no profit to the US taxpayer since it isn't doing what it was designed to do, provide a strategic asset in the face of a war. It isn't designed to let politicians buy themselves out of the effects of bad policies.
