I'll help you out Seran - these aren't my thoughts - these are medical professionals. I don't claim to know their reasons, but apparently those in the medical field and their hesitancy is broad enough for there to be articles and conversations about it.

I could potentially see a verbal counseling or something, with regards to something like "as a leader be more cognizant of the current political climate, and temper verbalizing opinions on non-sanctioned media platforms" - but to just get straight fired? Nah... plenty of Officers speak out with comments on media - this guy just made the mistake to say what's what and the administration can't have that.
They're trying to purge the military as fast as they can, so they can get their jackboots indoctrinated properly. If you think this is going to turn out well, you would be wrong.
